Who Has The Bigger Gap?

Weird question but the gap in weight between Lightweight & Welterweight is pretty much the same as the gap in weight from Welter to Middle (135-147-160) - but which do you consider to be bigger when you think of boxers at these weights?
Would you think that a Lightweight moving up to fight a Welter was more of a leap than a Welter moving up to fight a Middle?
I know a lot would depend on the individual fighter but what's your general feeling?
I did say it was a weird question

Cheers for the answer.
But why?
Crolla to Thurman or Brook to Golovkin?

I just think the disparity in power is amplified the higher you go up the weights, so it makes jumping up a couple of weights harder.

Very good point, mate.

12lbs is 8.89% of a lightweights body weight, 13lbs is 8.84% of a welterweights body weight, the increase is virtually identical
The light heavy weights have to gain over 14.2% to move up to Cruiser. That's why Bellew is my hero

Do you love Tony Bellew as much though?
Ps I'm nightshift and it's going to be a long night, I'll sit and do the calculations on all 17 divisions to see who has the easiest and hardest job skipping weights (well we know CW and HW are the biggest jump already I spose)

I love ALL boxers mate.
In Taansends dream world there are TEN weight divisions starting at Under 50kg & ending at Over 100kg (with 8 in between).
I've built spreadsheets in the past showing what the percentage in weight rise should be between each weight division so I can make it as far as possible
