What about GGG vs Charlo?

Don't think Canelo or Jacobs can give GGG much trouble.

I didn't even put Lomachenko on my list because I don't even know who would make a good matchup for him at this point. Maybe if Corrales KOs Uchiyama again, he'd make a good opponent.

I want to see the top 7 or 8 heavyweights get it on and settle the best in the division.

It's promised so much for the last couple of years and we have had the best of them avoid each other like the plague, taking easy routes to vacant titles

The ones that have stepped up have either lost the plot or been found out as drug cheats.

Ward and Kovalev II is not going to happen, perhaps, ever. If you heard Ward's recent comments saying that the rematch would "have to make sense" shows you how excited he is at the prospects of getting inside the ring with this monster again. Which is another reason why the decision was horrific in that fight. Not only did it cheapen and minimize what was a fantastic fight but it now puts the rematch in jeopardy. If Kovalev would have won, you know he'd sign on for the rematch a day later. Perfect illustration at how these bad decisions in boxing have ripple effects in the overral boxing product.

Wasn't there a rematch clause though? If Kovalev invokes it, and Ward refuses the fight, what happens? Both guys sit on the shelf indefinitely while lawyers hash it out?

When the rematch is signed I don't expect you to admit that you were wrong, as you were about the decision, but could you just agree to SHADDAP?

You have me mistaken for someone else. I have no problem admitting when i'm wrong and that happens way too often. I can tell by Wards comments already that if he's not going to duck the rematch all together, he's definitely going to make Kovalev work for it. This pisses me off when boxers do this after the opposing boxer goes out of his way to make the first fight happen. A bunch of crap.
