Charlo's Treatment Unfair

Admittedly, I'm not a fan of the Charlos and I've grown tired of their act and chest pounding. My routine interests have always been in the opposite corner to these two dopes but even I couldn't help but feel for Jermall on Saturday Night. Jermall not only had the balls to take this fight while exiting the division but he proved in sensational fashion that he's elite and on his way to being considered one of the best boxers on the planet.
It was sad to see a boxer boo'd out of the building after such an amazing performance. Did he deserve it in your opinion? Do you think that Charlo embraces this persona now and Floyds his way through the rest of his career with it? If i'm in his corner, I'm advising him to make as many people hate him as possible at this point because fans will pay to see him get hit. Fact. Thoughts?
PS-Charlo looked double the size of JW the other night and a ton more muscle that his last fight. hmm

Much is being made of Charlo’s rather unsportsmanlike behavior, after the fight, toward Williams, who tried to congratulate Charlo afterward. Charlo was booed lustily by the crowd (which numbered just over 5,600), as if he were wearing a UCLA Bruins jersey. Honestly, I didn’t have all that much of a problem with this. The bottom line is both camps were pretty heated in the lead-up to this event and I’m sure Charlo felt disrespected coming in – as many pundits…*ahem*…including this one, tabbed “J Rock” to come out victorious – and the adrenaline was flowing. It’s not as if Charlo was taunting someone who was being carried out on a gurney or anything.
But here’s the other thing: Last time I checked, this was boxing, not Wimbledon. What’s wrong with a bit of old-fashioned hatred and animosity, when it’s authentic and real? Honestly, I think, at times, there’s way too much civility and brotherhood between combatants in all sports. (Seriously, can you imagine Dick Butkus ever exchanging jerseys with an opponent after a game? Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m sounding like the “Get off my lawn!” guy but, c’mon, this is getting a tad ridiculous nowadays.) One of the problems Charlo has – even now – is many fans have problems differentiating between him and his brother WBC titlist Jermell. Saturday night was the first time he really ever elicited a reaction from the public – and that’s a good thing.

He's 26.
He just finished fighting.
He didn't do anything violent and apologized within 5 minutes.
If it were Froch in England, we'd all be laughing about it.
The crowd was real stupid on this one.

The crowd was stupid for booing someone being unsportsmanlike? The guy just stopped JRock, and refused to accept congratulations and shake his hand. He deserved to be booed by the crowd. He did the right thing by apologizing, but the damage was done. 26 is supposed to be the age of an adult. He acted like he was 12.

Nowadays, every philly fighter seems entitled to have a swagger and rub it into their opponent faces.
Williams even added the B HOP cross gesture during the intros; that looked SOOO lame.
Thanks god Charlo put the kid back into his place, and then punked him for good measure.
I'll be a future fan.

Just think if he had shaken hands just 5 minutes before the apology then the apology wouldn't have been needed.
