Same result but I will attend again as it was a good fight with a very good atmosphere. ..

Undercard needs to be a lot better though

Evening news said March 25th

Pointless rematch and with a neutral ref I fancy Linares via stoppage.

Decent earner for Crolla. He'll probably be well beaten again I'd imagine. Linares is a class act.

Another good fight but Crolla has to go through the gears faster, not let Linares rest, go the extra mile - and land the left hook to the head, a punch pretty much absent from his repertoire in the first encounter. I think he can do it, but it'll be tough.

Same winner maybe late ko this time if crolla takes more risks

Hearn mentioned a Crolla/Quigg double header for this card.
Quigg vs. Mares for the WBA 'Regular' maybe?

Mares made $700k for his last fight and $1.25m against LSC, so I imagine that he could be pricey to bring over as champion. Maybe for another bill, but would it work financially for this one?

for those numbers I doubt it, but if Quigg was to pick up that belt Hearn could more than likely push through the Frampton rematch.
Maybe for a card down the line not this one...

If Quigg was on this bill it's a non-title fight, The biggest I could see would be Warrington, but again I think that gets it's own show

Let him do some non-title fight then send Quigg over seas to try and win a belt.

I'm not sure there are many he could tempt over to fight for a title.

Unless the Frampton fight comes up with Quigg a non-titlist, which is probably a year down the line minimum
there's no chance Russell Jr comes over cheap, Same for Mares. They're building something with Oscar Valdez I feel, so he's not going to be risked away from home to Quigg.

Possibly get a Selby vs Quigg fight?

I honestly think Hearns might send him over seas if the opportunity comes up

Same result as last time. Crolla giving a good showing and troubling Linares but just lacking that bit of quality that Linares has to get him the win.

Well Warringtin has signed with FW now so that isn't happening.

Also on chance that could happen in Manchester anyway because of the travelling Leeds fans causing trouble.

Yeah Quigg would have to travel for another world title fight now. Even a Framtpon rematch if he goes for mandatory then Frampton would get 75% of the purse which he would rightfully deserve however I really don't think Hearn would want to do.

Quiggs best chance is Selby in Manchester but he loses. If he fights like he did v Frampton for the first 8 it would be more embarrassing.

I don't see the point in this fight, Crolla was well beaten last time and I can see Linares stopping him in this one.

At this stage of his career, where does Crolla go from there?

Good fight last time, and I'd watch it again. Probably the same result though. Gallagher doesn't have it to change plans.

Can't see Mares coming. There's cheaper, winnable fights for Quigg if he's trying to move up with the WBA.

I see Linares forcing a late stoppage this time.

No way Mares comes over. The numbers he does in America are huge.

Selby got a mandatory coming up before anything else so may be tied up early part of next year.

Good fight and I actually give Crolla a chance, Linares can't keep going to the well - and if Crolla is a bit more cautious this time he might get a points win.

Still favour Linares, but I give Crolla a chance.

I can't see anything but the same result. Crolla came into the first fight with fantastic form and it wasn't close to being enough.

More worryingly he looked lost at times and his trainer didn't help him much. Anyone could see Crolla shaking his head out of frustration, he couldn't figure Linares out.

Crolla can win if he can land the left hook to the head as well as to the body. He wasn't able to land this punch to the head last time. With a full repertoire I think he can win anexckting fight.

Considering that the judges and the consensus had Crolla losing by one or two rounds, then I am puzzled as to why this is being viewed as a walkover.

I thought crolla was in a prime position to take lineras but he just wasn't good enough the end of the day, so probably get beat easier this time.

Crolla got outboxed quite easily I thought. He didn't have an answer to some of the combos lineras was throwing.

I had it by two, in line with one of the judges. It was very even for the first eight, but Crolla got caught in one of the later rounds and seemed to take a lot out of him.

Obviously scoring is subjective...but in reality, he wins one round extra, he keeps the title, and most writers couldn't have complained when you looked at their fight report scorecards....
