Pretty mediocre fight. Burns is one of the few titleholders out there that I'd give Paulie a chance against. It's competitive on paper I suppose so it could be worse.

Not officially. Eddie Hearn was being interviewed by iFL TV and was discussing the various fights he was intending to televise from the beginning of 2017 until the weekend of the Joshua-Klitschko mega-event. He even listed the dates for each planned contest.
So whilst this bout is far from guaranteed, Hearn simply wasn’t casually speculating. He was adopting a position of strong intent.
