Hearns is ranked 2nd, Benvenuti is ranked 3rd - they will fight for the vacant IBF Title.

The Light Middleweight title begins this week and - the 2 fighters above are fighting for World honours, so the next 2 highest ranked Light Middles are FMJ (7th) & McCallum (10th).

Benvenuti declines the shot at the vacant IBF title. The time is not yet here for Benvenuti to be fighting title fights, but it'll come.

Nino Benvenuti will instead fight Josesito Lopez this week (with a special focus on power training) in an effort to score his first KO victory of the season.

Harry Greb has offered a title shot to BoxBuzz's 2 fighters Golovkin and Floyd Mayweather, but if he doesn't want to take that challenge we would also offer a shot to Mike McCallum. Tommy Hearns can take a crack at Greb as well if he prefers that to his shot at the vacant IBF title.

Tommy Ryan would like to fight Roberto Duran or Emile Griffith....if neither of those two is willing to face him he'll fight Koichi Wajima.

Holman will take on Tiger Flowers.
Stanley Ketchel will take on Panama Joe Gans.
Emile Griffith will take on Kermit Cintron (training: Power)

Not this week. Emile is coming off a disappointing DQ loss to Eddie Booker.

Sugar Ray Robinson will fight Maurice Hope.

I think Steele had agreed last week to give somebody an IBO shot, maybe Cerdan?

Duran is debating....

Cerdan is down and yes that's was agreed last week. Be warned though Cerdan isn't very good.

Hopkins vs Tiger Flowers....if that is possible.
Golovkin vs Maurice Hope if that is doable
Mayweather vs Mosashi if that is acceptable

We tried to get Nino into the ring, we tried to get Greb into the ring.....we tried to use reason, and sensibility, but to no avail.

Nino will not face anyone with a pulse....wouldn't even face Hopkins rated in the cellar.

More like Nino is focused on competing in his weight class. Which is why he's not interested in taking on the Middleweight Hopkins. At least not at this moment.

So that's 2 challengers who have declined the Greb fight.

Tommy Hearns or Mike McCallum have any interest?

Boxbuzz says he tried to get Greb into the ring? Well you didn't try very hard because that fight is still there to be taken.

What does Greb do if he can't get somebody in the Top 15 to fight him? I've offered the fight to most every available contender, and I'm quickly running out of fighters that fit the criteria to offer the shot to.

Freddie Steele is fighting Cerdan
Mike McCallum is booked to fight Floyd Jr.
Tommy Hearns has other opportunities
Marvin Hagler is fighting for the vacant IBF
GGG turned me down

What's Greb to do?

So, Dempsey accepts his title defense against Sugar Ray Leonard.
May the best man win.
(Venue will be Croke Park, Dublin)

Goodbye Jackson will fight on the Vegas undercard again, against fellow Light Middleweight - Cornelius Bundrage.

Well Monzon is still available, but he prefers to fight Burley, since the haven't fought yet.

Your duty as a World Champion's Manager is to try & find a fight against an eligible challenger in the top 15.

We at the Office of the Commish realise that your opportunities might exhaust themselves through no fault of your own.
In cases such as this, we tend to give you the flexibility to fight someone ranked in the top 20.
But we won't extend any further down than that.

But we do recognise that you've voiced challenges... And give you credit for doing it.
No-one likes a lazy World Champ.

Not when there's so many hungry fighters wanring to be in your position.

If none of the Top 15 guys who've been offered the shot take it. Greb will offer the shot to Archie Moore, Julian Jackson or Terry Norris

Is it top 15 or 14? Holman would be willing to take a shot at Greb and another belt if it is the former (and it was offered).

Langford wants a title shot. Otherwise he will fight any man in the sims.

Oscar has been given his marching orders. If he can't beat Pernall Whitaker. Then Whittaker will replace him in the stable.

Williams is coming off a loss, therefore he is not eligible for a World title shot this week.
