Who the heck was Crawford's lawyer? Arum couldn't refer him to someone? 90 days in jail for damaging a car lift in a garage trying to get his car back? Am i missing something?

Hey, if you choose to make a living inside the ring and fight for big money and MY time then I have every right to form an opinion based on what i see. When you choose to be in the public eye, you are fair game to be criticized for being a dick. And don't give me this crap about him being this big hero for getting in the ring against Kovalev. HE GOT IN THE RING FOR LIKE 5 MILLION DOLLARS. You pick the fighter and i'll fight him after work today for 5 million dollars. Anyone you want. I never said he is a hero. He certainly is not a punk or a coward though. Ward is a businessman. One of his businesses is his professional boxing enterprise. I don't agree with a number of his decisions over the years but I cannot fault his gifts and skills in the ring or his negotiating ability outside of it.

Ward is negotiating. Hard to argue with his success in that regard, given the terms of fights like Dawson and Krusher.

I'm not a huge fan of name calling and when i do it's clearly in jest but I will go as far as to say that Andre Ward is a coward IF he backs out of the rematch BUT continues to fight. If he retires then have at it, Hoss. Good for you. Nice career. All bets are off in that case and I don't think fans will hold it against him. But you know we haven't seen the last of Ward.

And one last thing....how the heck do you know Wards this great Family man? Because a preflight camera crew comes over and films him playing with his kids in the backyard for 20 minutes. They'll only show you what they want you to see anyway. I'm not saying he is or he isn't but I do know that he's no better than the mailman that just came home after a 12 hour day and plays with his kids.
