That will probably be a very very short fight, but still very nice that they are going to show it!

Yeah distance fight, but on 2nd thought, the drug program the Russians have everyone on at the minute might see Pov winning with the first punch he lands.

Haha, I think the Russians are going to carry on doping until.it gets to the point where a punch knocks a mans head off Mortal Kombat style into row 9.

That's simply a combination of talent, training and skills. Sad to see Wilder fans thinking this way, especially since there have been cought a lot of black American boxers using all kind of doping. I can't name any guilty Russian heavyweight at all actually unless you consider Ukraine to be Russian as well.

Decent enough fight,Povetkin needs to get his arse in gear if he wants this title shot,Stiverne is pretty durable but he looks flat since winning then losing the title, neither guy getting any younger and neither guy fought in over a year,Povetkin should have far too much in his locker for Stiverne but I worry this will be the 12 round snoozer I predicted Whyte/Chisora to be last week

Fight apparently off....

Stiverne tested positive last month, now Pov, though only Pov's test seems to be a factor in the cancelation.

Povetkin is an f*cking disgrace. I actually understood Ryabinskys reasoning behind what happened before the Cancelled Wilder fight but a second time DO ONE !!!!

Moscow is three hours ahead so right now there is still time for this fight to be called off. Why would Stiverne go ahead when he will probably get another chance to be Wilders mandatory if he pulls out.

This whole saga also goes to highlight that VADA are the only people who actually catch drug cheats and make people aware. It's not swept under the rug like UKAD.

That's because Povetkin's team said they wanted the fight to go ahead. I guess they wernt that bothered because they knew their fighter was using shit aswell.

Could end up being Stiverne vs Whyte in a final eliminator.

Stiverne would be earning a career high purse against Pov, one hed be unlikely to earn against Wilder or Whyte. He could still get the money with a lawsuit, but winning that isnt a sure thing.

I wonder why this came about so late; surely the test results were known more than 12 hours before the fight?

Brave guy fighting someone he knows will have a massive unfair advantage. If it goes ahead I hope he ruins PEDvetkin.
