Hughie Fury: Me and Tyson Will Win Belts, Rule Like Klitschkos

Hughie Fury claims he and Tyson will dominate the division like their predecessors, the Klitschko brothers.
Hughie Fury says he wants to dominate the heavyweight division alongside cousin Tyson The Stockport-born scrapper has been pegged for a pop at newly-crowned WBO king Joseph Parker, after becoming the mandatory challenger for the belt.
With Tyson Fury tipped to make a comeback in 2017, Hughie told talkSPORT’s Fight Club that the pair intend to leave a lasting legacy in the sport. “We’d never fight each other and me and Tyson are like brothers,” he said. “The plan is that I get my title, Tyson will come back and we’ll rule the heavyweight division together like the Klitschko’s did. We’ll just take one belt at a time.”

I can see them both winning world titles. But I don't think Tyson will be around for years. Maybe another 3-5 years if that. Hughie, is only 23 I believe. He looks more motivated and looks rather promising. I think he needs to start fighting Euro level competition now. NOT a world title fight. Someone like Carlos Takam, Duhaupas, possibly Pulev. To really test him. Anyone can win a world title when its vacant.

I can see Tyson coming back and winning a title and being involved in some big fights. The jury is still out on Hughie. He has ability and also has time on his side but he has a bit to do.

I really question whether either of them will win a world championship. Hughie is being quite foolish making such drastic steps up in level. He needs to progress a little. His best win so far is against Andriy Rudenko, almost 2 years ago. I'd say to him, get in the ring, target a few domestic dust ups, or go European, and get some credible wins under your belt. I don't know why they're so focused on him making big bucks now. It feels like they're just feeding him to the wolves!
As for Tyson, the jury is out as to whether we see him in a ring again. I hope we see the best of him again, but instincts is telling me we won't.

If Hughie has the ability then there's no reason why they couldn't but there's too many ifs and buts involved for it to realistically happen unfortunately

They could well hold a few belts between them why not ?ones already done it and Hughie is still very young, so I'd say yes.

I'm a Fury fan, but I think he'll get sparked if he comes back against a heavy hitter.

Chisora or Price would be a decent start to the year for him. Whyte would be interesting as well but they've already said they don't want to fight Whyte before.

hughie has as good a skill set as any other heavyweight out there. his footwork is superb.
but
he does not carry decent enough power to stop contenders and champions, this means that he will have to avoid bombs for 12 rounds to win anything.
this is a tough tough ask.

I don't think Hughie is good enough to rule for any significant length of time (or possibly even win a title at all), and Tyson obviously isn't disciplined enough.

The Fury name has possibly peaked. Shame really as they are both talented boxers.
I don't imagine either will age particularly well. It's a traveller trait. They could both pass for 40 already! They do a lot of growing up too early

Just gave his title up, Tyson!
Not the right time to make such bold claims.

They both have skillset to do it. But skillset isnt enough to rule the times like Klitschkos. One of them dont have mind and discipline and there are lots of questions about others health and physicality. Still a fine goal to have in the world where other so called champions care only about how to con fans out of there money.
