Jacobs is a solid mw no doubt but everytime GGG knocks someone out then some people are saying that GGG beat a bum and he should move up , bla, bla , bla ???

By some people probably, but Jacobs is certainly a credible contender.

I don't think Jacobs has the best chin but I certainly won't call him a bum when he gets ko'd.

Jacobs is not the same boxer who got stopped by Pirog. Whether he gets stopped (1st round) or not, Jacobs is legit and he is dangerous.

Probably, but he's no bum. GGG's best opponent to date comfortably. Finally one of the elite is taking him on.

I'm no GGG fan boy but there are folk who for reasons unknown seem determined to discredit him at every turn..
Those same folk will pour scorn on a GGG victory over Jacobs and demand we suffer a dull wrestling match vs ward. GGG is not a huge middleweight, arguably he's smaller than canelo certainly seems to weigh less on fight night.
I would love to know the ring weights on the night for GGG and Jacobs .

I don't rate Jacobs at all, think GGG destroys him with ease...however its nice to see a notable and supposedly prime too guy is getting in the ring with GGG. He might not be the guy Pirog beat, but he was dropped by Mora ffs...

Jacobs might not have have the greatest chin, but getting stopped by a good puncher like GGG wouldn't automatically prove that.

Getting dropped by Sergio Mora is what put him in the "not a particularly good chin" club.

Undoubtedly he will by GGG's detractors. He's pretty clearly the 2nd best middleweight in the world and the most dangerous opponent of GGG's career to date. I think there's a very good chance Jacobs would beat Canelo in a fight at 160lb. I don't think beating Jacobs would make GGG p4p #1, but it would be a very good win, especially if Jacobs goes on to have more good wins in the future. That said, GGG's opponents have a tendency to fade away after fighting him.

Yeah, Jacobs seems to have a fragile chin if a guy like Mora dropped him. I wonder what will happen when GGG's left hook will land clean ?

Is this even a question? Of course GGG is not going to get any credit no matter what happens. Jacobs will be labeled as overrated and he will most likely retire and we'll see him announcing fights.
Im always wrong when it comes to these things with GGG but I really think that Jacobs should present some difficulty with his length and height. GGG will probably mow him down in the first but on paper, I think that GGG should be tested stiffly in this one.
