I didn't see the fight, but literally every fan I've seen comment on it believes Perez deserved the decision over Hooker so that's probably it.

Still shaking my head at the Andre Ward homecooking. So predictable.

Just in terms of the disparity between the scoring and what actually occured, I'd say Perez-Hooker from that list. It should've been an 8-2 type of win for Perez, and it reminded me a lot of Lara-Williams, with the flailing, inaccruate, ineffective guy getting far too much credit just for moving his hands.

Kovalev-Ward was the worst -- because it was the biggest fight of the year and 1 of the truly elite fights ever staged in Boxing... The verdict damaged Boxing's credibility... The commission appointed 3 American judges and an American referee to a fight where a dispersed international group of officials is needed...I felt Kovalev would have to win the fight by 5 rounds and that's the way it turned out.

Hooker lost just about every round. That'd be the worst robbery.
Ward has a better case for a decision than Hooker by far.

I honestly still think Ward won that, though I never did a score.

Darleys Perez-Hooker by far. People want to say robbery is robbery but then say because it bigger fight its more a robbery.

The officiating and the judges had nothing to do with how close the fight was between Ward and Kovalev. IMO a unbiased group of judges should have had that fight razor close for either guy regardless where the fight took place or who judged the fight.
The fact there are still people on here who think that was a robbery to begin with just shows how biased some are on here.

The officiating and the judges had everything to do with it.. I posted when the judges and referee were all Americans that the fight would be a robbery and awarded to Ward... You appoint international officials in a fight like this.. The Russian commission did in Kovalev's previous fight. They didn't appoint a single Russian judge or referee. It shows how biased you are that you can't admit Kovalev was a clear winner and Boxing is corrupt... Kovalev scored a solid knockdown, landed more and better punches, obviously won rounds, such as the 10th, that all 3 judges gave to Ward, and he still didn't get the decision.. It was a joke.

For me, yeah it was Kovalev.
I still think he has every right to feel hard done by.

It's probably a low-profile fight that isn't even listed here. Kovalev-Ward wasn't a robbery because it was so close, but it's by far the highest profile fight listed so I can see why those who scored the fight for Kovalev would think it was the biggest robbery.

I don't see how anybody calls it close... If you score the same number of punches and each boxer is equally aggressive.. and nobody gets knocked down, then you can say it was close.. If one boxer is more aggressive, chases his opponent to the ropes many times and lands better and more punches.. and scores a solid knockdown.. They were looking for rounds to give to Ward.. That's how you get robberies.

There's "robberies". And there's giving a fighter a win in a close fight. Kovalev was NOT "robbed". He was beatenin a close fight. Most people that think Kovalev was robbed are casual fans that don't appreciate "the sweet science".

The same people that think Kovalev was "robbed", probably think Pacquiao was"robbed" against Mayweather Jnr.

A close fight that you scored 9-3, Laird
The people who scored it like that to Ward probably had their minds made up ahead of time that he was going to soundily outbox Kov and put on a great technical display. If Ward tied his shoelaces they'd probably go on about how effectively and nuanced he did it; look at us, we're so discerning!
I thought Kov won, but Perez-Hooker and Chud-Sturm had worse judging. Laughable to think that between the meetings of the latter pair, only two of six cards had Chud winning

Kovalev v Ward. After the first six rounds there was no way Ward could win without knock downs, that's what makes it so bad.
Diabolical.
