How can anyone even root for Klitschko?

Eastern Europe fans hate Floyd and Ward but for some reason they root for this boring robotic wrestling machine against someone like Anthony Joshua.

Mate you've got the wrong sport, proper boxing fans don't love or hate fighters like football fans do with their teams, boxing fans don't give a sh!t about geography or race, we like good matchups and good fights and that's it

Size is what matters, who cares about a good boxer fighting guys in a weak part of their carreer that also have a weightlimit? It's like the paralympics, yes, piles of people are better, somehow they are not allowed to join!

Of course not, my point is he is relatively robotic himself. He is a more fluid puncher than Klitschko, but he isn't anything like Mayweather or Ward.

Joshua is not stiff or upright.. He has a very versatile stance that allows him to slip, dip, and roll under punches much more smoothly than Ali ever did... Ali had a messed up stance.. He pulled straight back from punches and got punched right in he face by crude swingers.. Ali wasn't a puncher and he couldn't get namby pamby, feather punching novices like Alfredo Evangelista, 14-1-1, out of there.. Ali got ripped with left hooks... Ali ate jabs... Ali could never have gotten away from Joshua's jab, hook, right counter, combinations, and body attack -- and Klitschko won't either..

Klitschko has 5 X as many amateur fights -- 4 X as many professional fights -- and 8 X as many professional rounds as AJ... Wladimir thinks he up against a total greenhorn.. AJ has the best right counter in the business -- all Wladimir does is jab and look for hook and right hand counter opportunities.. AJ will keep him busy grabbing, which the referee will warn Klitschko about.. Ali never got point-deducted for grabbing and holding - which he did up to 20 times a round - more than any Heavyweight Champion in History.. Wladimir lost a couple points already for grabbing and holding.. The referee will be on his case. Joshua will end him like he did Dillian Whyte. He'll run him down and ice him in brutal fashion. Hopefully Hayden won't be there to watch.

Joshua has to make Wlad pay for that pawing jab. Wlad controls his opponents with that pawing jab making them think too much about what could be coming at them at any second. Joshua has to be confident and just fight within himself and not let Wlad dictate the pace with his pawing jab. Joshua has the skills and abilities to win this fight but does he have the mental edge?

He certainly has a punchers chance, though I also expect an early stoppage for Joshua.

If this was coming off the Pulev fight I would be picking Wlad. Seeing as we're dealing with a Rusty 41yo Klit who looked awful against Fury (which was largely due to things Fury did), I think Joshua deserves to be the slight favourite.

Wlad has the better jab and faster feet and is far more experienced - he's leagues better than anyone Joshua has faced to date.
