Anyone staying up to watch DeGale next week?

I'm actually really looking forward to this fight and I'm gonna stay up and watch. I've always been a DeGale fan tbh. He is frustrating to watch a lot of the time but when he's on song he's excellent and I think he gets overlooked a bit.

If he wins next week then 2017 could be a massive year for JDG. Undefeated prospect in Smith next then another potential unification and rematch with Groves all going well!

Pedraza v Davis looks an interesting one as well! Maybe too soon for Davis or a coming out party? Pedraza is no mug.

Definitely staying up to watch it. Don't bother normally and get up at 6am to watch it recorded but for a British fighter in America unifying the division gets my support.

Sky Sports but it's Vegas so time is anyone's guess! Vegas fights tend to be later. Anytime between 4-5.15am I'd say.

Well I'm not drinking sat night and my youngest will probably wake up around that time so more than likely will.

I'm off next weekend so I said I'll get up with the kids on Saturday and let her have a lie in. That means I'll be able to get a few hours on Sunday morning when the fight finishes. I'll no doubt regret it halfway through the following week though!

Frampton v LSC at the end of the month as well in a late one!

I don't have Sky Sports anymore and am not even going to bother with a Now TV pass tbh. I'll catch the highlights online in the morning.

New York now isn't it? So presumably a bit earlier, at a guess maybe 3?

Will be staying up really hope degale can do it but think it's going to be a tough night so really hoping he doesnt take (m)any rounds off as has become customary.

Will be watching it at a mates with a few beers.

I think he's good enough to win this but I agree, he'll get beat if he takes a breather.

Ahh sorry I thought it was Vegas. Just with Jack being a Mayweather fighter etc... Yeah usually New York fights are a bit earlier. Fingers crossed.

I'm amazed that anybody who bothers to log in and post in British and Irish and doesn't have something else to do WOULDN'T stay up to watch this.

I can't warn to Degale. In real life he's probably not as much of a bellend as he appears but for betting purposes I hope Badou Jack wins

I'll stay up and watch it.. this is strange but,,,

Froch beat groves twice and is a better fighter
Groves beat degale twice and will again this year but I always thought that degale would beat froch

But should degale win he will achieve something Carl Froch did not and become lineal super middleweight champion.

In a much weaker division. Froch would have smashed Degale to bits.
