What's the problem ? Freddie Flintoff was granted one with no amateur experience. Robin is a very tough lad. Passed all medicals.

I personally think that Robin Deakin shouldn't be boxing, spoke with him at a show in Scotland and the guy sounded pretty punch drunk to me. At the end of the day if he has passed his medicals then who am I to say any different I suppose :TU:

That wouldn't end well for Robin but I suppose Conner Benn would be the biggest pay day out there for him :TU:

I find it so hard to understand how a fighter can go from ABA quarter finalist and signed by Warren to losing so much

didnt biba take away his license ?

bit of a turn around isnt it if the bbbofc are licencing guys they take licenses from after all the crap about biba licensing people bbbofc took licenses from.

Didnt seem to matter to the critics on here then that theyd passed medicals ok etc, yet more hypocrisy :TU:

Your right, if he passes all Medicals and is fit enough to fight then why not. People worry too much about other people, if he is willing to fight then Why not let him...

If that isn't counter-puncher I'll be amazed.

First time he hashtags #campeddie I'll know it's him

Can anyone confirm he has a bbbc licence back ? Why take it off him in the first place to give it back ? Can anyone make any sense of it ?

He only lost 49 on the trot
:D

I'm fairly sure you could dig up Primo Carnera, balance the corpse on its feet in time for the opening bell, and as the opponent came forward to throw a shot, one out of 50 times Primo would fall over and accidentally clip the fighter's chin and score a first round Ko. Or at the very least a double KO ending in a draw.

But not Robin Deakin......

Freddue had one 4 rounder, Deakin had done over 200 rounds and been knocked out 12 times. The problem is taking that punishment. Being tough doesn't stop brain damage.

Robin never had a license when he last boxed on a BIBA show. He didn't officially weigh in either - none of the boxers did. They never had scales and had to borrow scales from the York hall and they was faulty... everytime a boxer stepped on them it gave a different reading.

Dont believe me ? - Ask any of the boxers who weighed in. :TU:

I think you are over looking the obvious weight, height and reach advantage for Primo.
That outranks most fighting attributes, including the possession of a beating heart

Stop digging up BIBA crap all the time. Let it go! 'It happened a long time ago'
