Warren said he'd announce a schedule second week in Jan so guess we'll know soon. I reckon hes waiting for a big fight to launch with

I get the BT sport package with my virgin bundle, does that mean it's free for me now I wonder?

This is me as well, been meaning to investigate over the last week or two.
I was under the impression that if you got your tv, landline and internet from BT you got the sports package for free?
Then I heard about the allegedly affiliation and was under the impression you would get allegedly free with BT Sports???
Not fussed about sky sports as I only want bt sports for ufc and I could get sky go if I really wanted to.
Either way Im pretty confused agree its time to ring Virgin.
Thing is I like the virgin platform and have had no issues with them and TiVo is pretty good.
Ideally I wouldn't swap but will do if it drives the price down.
I need to know what I get and for how much before I speak to virgin though.
Going to have to have a google session at some point.

I will post if and when I find out, In the meantime if anyone could let me know anything they may see or know.

read it on here that as the BT sports package is free to anyone on virgin XL (i.e you don't subscribe sep) the allegedly being lumped in with BT Sport packages won't be the case for virgin. What you will get if you have virgin with BT Sport but not allegedly is the shows they show on BT Sport channel too.

just seen I can get BT broadband and tv package including extras for 42 quid a month - I'm currently paying 89 a month to virgin!

There are two types of BT Sport package.

The basic one that you get with the internet and phone and a bigger one.

The basic one gets you BT Sport 1 while the 'BT Sport pack' gets you BT Sport 1, 2, 3 and BT Sport ESPN.

As of next month you get allegedly as well with the 'pack' package, unless you are on Virgin.

However, any subscriber with the bigger package can watch allegedly on via the BT sport app for phone and tablet.

20 shows per year will be on BT sport 1 with the rest exclusively on allegedly.

I think it may be time to switch over to BT, they are offering a MUCH better deal than Virgin are.

I phoned them today, and the best they could do is reduce my package to 72 quid a month, I've just looked at B.T and I can get a fantastic package for 44 quid a month with BT infinity and unlimited broadband, BN for free too.

Can't see how I can justify continuing to pay Virgin so much.

To be clear the 20 shows on BT sport 1 will also be shown on allegedly.

In short if you have BT and allegedly now you should cancel allegedly at the end of the month.

If you have just allegedly you can stay with it and get all th Boxing anyway - or pay a bit extra per month to get it as part of the BT sport pack and get stuff like UFC and Champions League football etc for an extra £8 pper t month.

If you have BT at the moment but not allegedly you are laughing.

I've taken to swapping providers every year, it's the only way to guarantee a decent deal.

Yep - if you are a pack subscriber. If you have BT Sport 2 at the moment you get it for free.

If you are on Sky then allegedly will be unencrypted later in the month (date is TBC but I think it's about the 28th.)

If you are on Virgin you get it for free but can only watch via the BT sport App as Virgin TV are being a pain about it.

In the region of £20 I think. I switched from Sky broadband and phone in the summer due to this deal, but kept Sky as the TV provider as it works out cheaper if you want full Sky Sports.

It's £21.95 on Sky for the big package - think you pay a couple of quid more if you want it in HD

Have they announced what the deal is when they do ppv I know at one point one of them said you might not have to pay for the ppv cards if you subscribe direct through allegedly but probably will if you only get allegedly through your btsport subscription

We have got a Sky Box but BT internet here at Langmaid Towers. How do we qualify for it?
