It would be one thing if this was actually billed as Manny's last fight, but it is not. Roach claims (if you can believe him) that Manny is still fighting on a top level, and better now since his shoulder is fixed. 3 fights that were not necessary with Bradley, Rios, Algieri, Vargas, and now this??? Not only is Arum robbing the fans of good fights, he is also robbing Manny of making a lot more money by doing the good fights. Sad.

Bullshit. You are comparing Brook's opposition to Manny's? I really doubt if he prefers to make a hell of a lot less money either fighting cab drivers and teachers. So many people here put Manny on the same level of greatness as Mayweather, yet harshly criticize Floyd for taking one opponent like what Manny has done 4 or 5 times in recent years. The hypocrisy is pathetic. If he isn't going to fight quality opposition, I wish he would just retire.

Call it for what it is - another crap cherry pick fight.

Understand what your saying but you never hear Manny proclaiming to be TBE or even the best anything, at this stage he is just an ageing fighter with a long hard career behind him and I for one am willing to cut him a bit of slack as he rides off into the sunset

What I said has nothing to do with what Manny said or didn't say. It is about the hypocrisy of some people in this forum. Do I need to dig up every person that chastised Floyd for fighting Berto that are now sayning it's ok for the 4th or 5th time for Pac to prove my point?

I didn't criticize Floyd whatsoever for fighting Berto, and I won't criticize Manny for fighting Horn. I'm not a fan of either of them, but I don't believe Manny deserves any criticism for this. He's 38. He's not the focal point of the division anymore. He's just fighting places he's never fought before, and making some more money before he packs it in. Nothing wrong with that.
