I think chunky beats jack easy at weekend then in hes summer fight against callum smith i recken he will give him a boxing lesson,
Eubank to win the IBO world title at weekend then have a defence if he decides to say at supermiddle
Then november/december a massive fight at the o2 arena
JAMES DEGALE VS CHRIS EUBANK JNR
FOR THE IBF/IBO/WBC WORLD TITLES
They have trashed talked before back when they was both with Mick Hennessy as eubank claims he smashed up degale in sparring.
Would be a great fight with in which i see degale winning a very close fight

Eubank not going to fight a top super middle. We'd be lucky if he fought top middle weight.

If it does happen DeGale will box his head off and Callum Smith will knock him out.

i just think eubank is gonna price himself out of any decent fight these days, he would probably want a 50/50 split with degale based on him holding (by then) the IBO strap and calling it a unification !

My prediction is that Eubank Jr spends 2017 fighting complete nobodies, calling out GGG in post-match interviews and standing around looking gormless whilst his dad poses and talks cobblers.

He won't fight DeGale.

If you haven't already, watch the Degale ifilm interview. He basically says exactly the above, says because Eubank will want 50% and to call it a unification it will never happen because he refuses to give any money to Senior basically.

Obviously those sort of things are said all of the time, but if Degale wins against Jack and then a future fight against Smith, I think it will be a Groves fight/GGG type fight he will look to after that rather than Eubank.

I used to find DeGale a bit hard to stomach, but now I actually think he comes a cross a lot better.

Seems a decent guy!

I think it is unlikely Eubank meets DeGale this year, he will probably make first defence against winner of Ryder/Etches. I can imagine him in a so called 'big' fight Nov/Dec time against somebody like Paul Smith.

looks about right, ITV trying to recreate the 90s when you had a load of brits fighting over lightly regarded WBO straps but still managed to make a few household names

DeGale would embarrass Eubank. Eubank would have a much better chance in a BJS rematch but by all accounts he didn't even want that fight.

My prediction is that JR will step up and prove everyone wrong.

I don't think he carries that much power at middleweight and will struggle to make a dent any higher up.

And I suspect DeGale has a very good chin. Not that he'd be there to be hit. He beats Jr.

It's a spiteful kind of punch jr throws an accumulation of quick sharp uppercuts can give any boxer trouble.

Apart from world class Olympians who won't get hit with them. BJS took an awful lot less than every opponent since. As if DeGale is getting caught with quadruple uppercuts by anyone.

Eubank Jnr is a dosser who wouldlnt be game enough to fight degale and would more than likely price himself out or make excuses

Puts his power into question though, doesn't it? He loaded up on these 'spiteful' shots, continually landed them flush against limited, face-first opposition like Spike, Blackwell, and Chudinov, yet still couldn't drop any of them.

Blackwell would probably be in a better situation today if Jr. could really crack.

How do we know he is going to step up? He wussed out of a GGG fight when offered. He pulled out of the Langford fight, and instead of rescheduling went on a rant about how it would be dangerous to take that fight as he was far, far superior. He's now fighting Renold Quinlan.

Are Team Eubank interested in big fights, or are they interested in cashing in and making excuses?

To be fair, I don't see Jr throwing 4 at Degale to find out.
He probably lands the first, misses the second, getting countered in the process and doesn't throw 3 & 4.

If DeGale beats both Jack and Smith. I doubt we will see him in with Eubank because if Groves wins his World title fight. DeGale will badly want the rematch as another unification.
