Was that the first time Degale has been knocked down as a pro? I can't remember him being knocked down before and I've watched every Degale fight.

He wad hurt against Wilczewski, but Im pretty sure that was the only time he's been down as a pro.

Yeah it was his first knockdown.

Anybody know if he's been down as an amateur?

Im pretty confident that several years ago I read that Sutherland dropped him. I cant find many articles on their amateur fights now, but one I managef to locate suggested that Degale was hurt by right, and JD was quoted as acknowleging that he was rocked.

I was very very impressed by the way he came back though.
