don't think it makes much difference when BJS won't fight anyone and refuses to stay in shape

Despite the fact he made weight and had a fight recently?

Excellent move by BJS team. Get a creditable opponent lined up for the spring and get cracking!

BJS is such a skilled boxer, if he can get his nutrition right then he can be a match for anybody.

I always thought he looked like he could make light middle such as his conditioning but we shall see.

Shame he lacks power, which probably also comes to nutrition and strength and conditioning.

Interesting move to go with a trainer who worked with his two most high-profile victims. Perhaps Booth has long admired him from afar.

He's a cracking talent, just a bit of a dick at times.

I do rate Booth and like Billy Joe but not sure this is a match made in heaven.

I think Billy should have stayed with Jimmy Tibbs. Do we know the real reason why they departed?

Personally if I was Andy Lee I would feel a little let down that Adam has taken him on.

Yeah Andy Lee, he's been quiet lately. I'm not sure what's going on there

Not convinced that BJS' heart is fully in the game regardless of who trains him. The fact him and Tibbs split makes me suspect Tinbs couldn't work with him because of his attitude.

He has also been spending a lot of time with Tyson Fury whose heart may not be in boxing anymore. Might have some influence. Maybe he's been hitting the yeyo with Fury.

He hardly spends any time with Tyson, ridiculous post.

Be interesting to see if Billy knuckles down there as Booth is not exactly a soft touch.
He's a pretty prescriptive type of trainer.

I always suspected that the fighters who've left Booth did so because he still expected a certain rigorous approach/regime even when they'd got belts and decent money....Groves in particular seemed to pick the 'Man in the Hat' because he wanted an employee rather than a tough boss.

Maybe getting Billy all wrong; perhaps he's wants more discipline and a fresh start with a hard taskmaster?

I'm just guessing as they've been photographed a bit recently, big themselves up on social media, and Tyson was there at BJS contest. Don't get too upset!
