Just imagine the people that Angel talked trash to them saying back to Angel that his son was a cherrypicker and a hypejob who got exposed by a guy with a pony tale. LOL Angel would go nuts as hell and sniff all the powder till his body cracks.

Angel’s doing a great job of selling the fight, which takes the spotlight off his son and also removes the burden of promoting the bout… allowing Danny to focus solely on training and preparation.

If Keith Thurman does beat Danny, whilst I’m sure that Angel would be disappointed, he’ll probably feel that he’s done his upmost to give his son every opportunity to prepare for the bout as best he can.

If Thurman beats Garcia, I just hope he does it decisively, with no BS robbery claims and excuses like we have been hearing a lot lately. If Garcia wins, the same. Angel Garcia needs to just STFU. I fault Danny for not telling him that. A little bit of him is funny, but we hear too much of him.

I cannot think of any parent that has mental capacity that willingly takes orders from their child, regardless the age of their offspring. I rarely, if ever, seen Danny actively engage or endorse the sort of shenanigans that his father does. He usually prefers to remain silent.

It's a wondering that nobody had the balls to slap Angel and make him silent in all these years.

I WAS a fan of Angel Garcia until that debacle i just watched. What he doesn't realize is that his act is keeping his kid from being a huge star. It's all about Angel and he thinks that people are there for him. I would have loved to hear these two fighters talk more intelligently about this fight and their history together. All that aside, he should be fined or removed from any more interviews after using the N word like that. That was ridiculous. That word just needs to go i'm embarrassed for having listened to it. Lesser human beings.

Danny's perennial silence basically is an endorsement. At this point their schtick seems hollow and forced. The real reaction comes when, God willing, Swift is counted out.

Playing mindgames/go under the opponent skin / create interest by making people to pay more money to see Danny losing because of his dad's filthy mouth is Angel's dirty tactic to sell fights. He should get fined and banned for his rants.

Angel Garcia appears to be of somewhat low intelligence. I fail to see this as "hype" or "mind games." Rather it is the moronic rant of a genuine cretin.

I see both him and Mrs. Garcia had a verbal pop at the likeable Thurman (according to a news story I read about it.) interestingly they are both 'Rican immigrants so I'm not sure what he was on about with his anti "immigrant boxer" sentiments.

I've hated the Garcia's for a while but the ending was the pathetic staged barber shop sucker punch video where Angel tried to portray himself as some sort of badman. This press conference is just more noise. The sooner the pair of them are out of boxing the better, so I hope Thurman can knock him out.

to be honest, it's just how Puerto Ricans are here in Philly, and NY.

He would definitly be devastated if Danny lost imo, because in a way Thurman really is fighting both Danny and his father.

This fight wouldn't even have been made if Thurman didn't say that Danny and Angel would be another father/son combo he would beat, or something along those lines.

Those words from Thurman angered both garcia's (particularly Angel) so badly that they accepted the fight, genius move on Thurman's part.

I can't even imagine what kind of words would Angel pull out of his mouth if his son gets stopped by Thurman. LOL
