That was brilliant was that, the ref was a decent slugger!

I think certain fighters have certain rioters such as football clubs have hooligans. Alan Minter and Tony Sibson had some unruly followers.

McCracken's fans usually destroyed places he fought in.

Golota kept hitting below the belt from memory. He was disqualified the Bowes team started brawling, hitting Golota with walkie-talkies then it erupted

Yeah the ref did really well, decent work from the clinch then really opened up when he had the space

Tony Wilson vs Steve McCarthy springs to mind.

McCarthy was going to town on Wilson and then his mum jumped in the ring and started hitting McCarthy with her shoe.

Think all hell brook loose, McCarthy left the ring as he needed four stitches and thinking he'd won. When Wilson was awarded the fight as the ref said it should ha e continued the place erupted. Wilsons mum was dragged from the ring by her hair.

It wasn't quite like that. I'm a Southampton boy, and I know Steve's brother, Mick. The ref told Steve to continue while they were still in the ring, and Steve refused. Told to me the same way by my barber, who is a boxing fan, and was at the fight.

Mutley v Anderson riot was a shame to see, after a great fight, the Scots fans got run out of town in that one, after all their bravado before and during the fight they fled, when the Brummies got pissed off with it.

Cracking fight - what happened to Anderson? I know he lost to the African guy but he just seemed to fade away from the domestic scene thereafter.

Bowe's team were a bunch of thugs. They started sh*t after Holyfield 1 too, it didn't escalate nearly as bad as the Golota situation but a fight broke out. Walkie Talkie guy smashed on Fan Man with his Walkie Talkie too.
