The China's HW "sensation" Jun Long Zhang is closer to fight with Argentinian Rogelio Omar Rossi.

* Serious man, this Chinese HW is a joke, the first C class boxer he faces he goes down.

I would assume he is sensibly working on his boxing skills in the gym rather than knocking over cans on undercards.

I trained around this dude years ago when he was just a kid and he was ginormous then and was working incredibly hard. He's not like Valuev, who was kinda disfigured and not very well really: Taishan is a ridiculous specimen, as strong as you can be for a 7 foot guy and I think just a natural giant. I would hope he is locked away in a gym somewhere working on his fundamentals because he is still fairly young and, while he is unlikely to win a world title, could pose a problem for most top 15 heavyweights if moved right and earn himself a few quid.

He was looking shite in his fights when he was active so going off radar for a while so he can learn more seems sensible.

Didn't he have problems with his promoter?

He looks too big for his own good like a Valuev but who knows.

Do you even know who we are talking about?

I'd like to see him against higher competition.
I've predicted ages ago that he's most likely better then Wilder for example.

He's a bit underrated imo. H e got knocked down by Juan Goode which hasn't helped his reputation but if he gets pushed along this year I could see him pushing for a title shot next season some time.

You guys aren't even talking about the right fighter. The Chinese fighter in the OP is supposedly a very good fighter. If the hype is right, he's probably the best HW out of China, even better than Zhilei Zhang. Anyways, he's been KOing just about every opponent he's face, and he KO'd Dos Santos faster than Kudryashov so his power seems legit. Anyways, I've not seen any footage of him on YouTube other than some small snippets. Anyone seen him fight?

Zhang vs Zhang needs to happen

The super fight for Chinese supremacy.. Z Zhang has a nice amateur background but has been so-so as a pro. J Zhang has the KOs, though he looks mediocre from the footage Ive seen, and I recall the WBC raising questiobs about the legitimacy of his fights.

Junlong recently called out Kyotaro and got a passport so he can fight outside of China, could be interesting...

Zhang has already knocked out 5 opponents as good as Rogelio Rossi, so this fight doesn't really mean anything. He needs to fight someone in the top 75, like Faisal Arrami or Pawel Kolodziej.

In a bizarre twist he's now having a wwe tryout ...Vince must have him eyed up as part of the big stable with Big Show, Big E and Big Cass...probably go with Big Dong

People realised he was neither 7 feet tall nor any good.
