So much for "I'm not a true middleweight"

Canelo signs to fight Chavez at 165 pounds literally a few months after having said this nonsense.

I mean, come on. That now has to go down as one of the dumbest, most transparent lies in boxing history. I'm not a big Canelo hater but good lord he looks like a clown now.

Not that many of us weren't calling it at the time. It's not as though Canelos huge rehydration weights weren't fairly common knowledge

Canyelo is going to destroy Chavez by forcing him down to a weight he can't make... Even if Chavez could make 165 and be strong, he was badly beaten up and knocked out by a light hitter -- an obscure Pole with a chicken neck and a fragile chin.

This is another cherry-picking non-fight like the Khan, Smith, and Kirkland fights. Cotto is the only real fight he's had since Lara kicked his ass. No rematch of that fight will occur. He also doesn't want to fight Jermall or Andrade. He knows Cotto is on his last legs and Cotto will not fight those though guys either. It not the weight; It's the opponent. Cinnamon wants name opponents, but he doesn't want real tough or competitive fights. Canyelo-Chavez is another fan ripoff.

 Juji is one of only about 3 people who post on CS that I would rule out being Bnov

The others being Saad and Gil, the rest is just an absolute mess, I don't post on CS much so apologies to the other decent posters, I'm sure they'll know where I'm coming from

Canelo is going to beat Chavez because he's simply a much better fighter, and Chavez probably only has about 6-8 pounds on him anyway.

This thread was just to point out the absurdity of the "I'm not a true MW" excuse for not fighting GGG last year. The speed with which he flip-flopped on that nonsense was breathtaking.

Canelo is another protected fraud just like Floyd - Canelo is terrified of GGG just like Floyd was terrified of prime Pacquiao - Cowardice lives in modern day pro boxing and it's rewarded - :brick:

I doubt very much if Canelo is scared of anyone in his weight range. Canelos team, however, are shit scared of GGG.

Fear is contageous, so Canelo definitely got some of it.

As long as Canelo lets Oscar protect his ass he's basically telling the world he is terrified - other wise he would tell Oscar 'Hey Oscar I could beat this guy' - Canelo is terrified just like Floyd was terrified of Pacquiao in 2008-2012 :TU:

Canelo will still probably say that. He will now claim to be too big for 160 and compete at 168. :OhYes:

Canelo is embarrassing himself. I don't understand why his Mexican fans haven't called him out on his bullshit. Where is the pride?
