Promoter and former world champion Oscar De La Hoya was arrested for DUI in Pasadena, CA Tuesday night … TMZ Sports has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us the 43-year-old was pulled over for speeding in a Land Rover around 2 AM and during the stop, officers suspected he was drunk. We’re told Oscar bombed a series of field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI. He was cited and released to his manager. Earlier in the evening, Oscar was seen at multiple bars in the area, including Barney’s Beanery in Old Town Pasadena where he posed for a pic with a fan.--TMZ

I have never warmed towards Oscar - he's supercilious, media trained, always seemed to hold back rather go for it in big contests, knowing that a close points decision would get him another big purse, acted very suspiciously bangingbthe canvas like a bad actor when Hopkins stopped him. he had the worst nickname in boxing history - 'the Golden Shower boy'....

I actually warmed to him when he was busted cross dressing and doing Charlie - it made him more human (good legs too )

He's definitely a Peter puffer too he should just come out.

Anyway, apart from that I really like him.

Not sure where you're getting that info. In his book he talks about being molested as a youngster. As for the shitty father remark, he does acknowledge that.

I don't give a crap what Oscar or Leonard do or did in their personal lives, as long as they try to be good... I always took both as being a little effeminate... I thought Ali and Norton were a little effeminate too.. It's like when you talk to newscasters Don Lemon or Anderson Cooper -- if you didn't know they were gay you would wonder about them just by some of their expressions and gestures.

I agree, nothing wrong with being gay. I don't have a problem with someone cross dressing either although I find it funny in Oscars case. What we are"mainly" talking about here is De la Hoya drink driving. Thats not his personal business, that affects whomever he shares the road with. Surely he could afford to have gotten a taxi or driver home he's a multi millionaire. So many people die on the roads because of these fools.
