McClellan had a better percentage, 20 first round KOs in 31 wins, 29 knockouts.
Shavers and Dempsey I believe had more first round KOs than Tyson.

I didn't specifically say good opposition. And yeah, like Tyson's first round civtims were all great(except Spinks). McClellan first round KOd Jackson and Mugabi, he had a natural aptitiude for first round KOs.
But antyway this is off the subject, I just want the records.

One Round Hogan had the most consecutive one round knockouts, which was 18 I believe, but Young Otto holds the record for most one round knockouts in a career with either 42, or 45.

Jack Dempsey had the most of any hvy. champ with 26 of his 50 ko's in the first round. Also Shannon Briggs has 25. If he gets 2 more he will break the record(even though he's wasn't undisputed champ but he was still lineal champ).
