Warren's twisted logic

From Sportinglife.com -

Warren insists he will not get involved in a tug of war over the Atlantic in a bid to boost Hatton's profile.

He added: "Danny Williams would never have won on points against Tyson - the referee took two points off him in a single round. I want home advantage.

"England would rather play Portugal over here - Sol Campbell would have been given his goal (in the Euro 2004 quarter-final) - I want home advantage.

"I am in the business of getting the best for my guys. If that upsets people that is a shame.

- But if he'd demanded home advantage for Danny v Tyson the fight would not have taken place, and Danny would still be trapped on the York Hall treadmill.

He is NEVER going to get home advantage against the upper echelons of the division because he won't pay enough money.

Can you imagine Mayweather, Gatti or Cotto coming to the UK? Harris and Mitchell have already given it a wide berth.

They are going to want a massive purse to come into the unknown, where frankly judging can sometimes be as partisan as anywhere else on the planet.

Still, ta least the ludicrous Sol Campbell analogy made me snigger.

Evidently that's where Sven is going wrong, he should boycott any tournament that isn't in England because it puts his team at a disadvantage.

Perhaps Frankie boy can get that Russian linesman as a judge.
