His nemesis just lost a narrow decision. Scot himself lost narrowly to Frampton and I thought was coming on string until the last round.

He probably got his tactic wrong too.

I'm a big fan of Carl and Scott... Really want to see Quigg get himself back in the mix of world class fighters very, very soon. I fear he'll stagnate...and these are key years in his career.

Any rumours of what's next for him?

Quigg should go back to super bantamweight and smash Rigondeaux up.

Frampton isn't important. Quigg shouldn't waste his career chasing him around for the rematch.

A fight with Selby should be easy enough to make. It's looking like Frampton will chase the LSC rematch.

Lets have it right, those cards in the Frampton fight were a bit of a farce, it was a clear points win for Carl, but I agree, Quigg did come on strong.

I was told two weeks ago that Quigg had no idea who he was boxing on the Crolla card and he was becoming frustrated. What wouldn't surprise me is if he has a keep busy fight on the Manchester bill and had a bigger fight on the Wembley show.

Their 2nd fight wasn't enjoyable, it was a mess.

Plenty of good fights for Quigg at 126. Selby, Mares, Russell Jr, Valdez. Even someone like Warrington would be better that knocking over relatively unknown opponents. And of course the Frampton rematch is an option, although I'd prefer to see him get a good win or two before that.

Scott needs an opponent to put him right back in the mix.

If he can make Super-Bantam then he should. But my guess is that he can't.

Wasn't as good as the first fight but result aside I enjoyed it however you're certainly entitled to your opinion.

If they fight again I'll look forward to it but if they go a different route I'll look forward to that as well. I can't see LSC coming to Belfast but I hope I'm wrong as I wouldn't mind going.

Back on to Quigg, I quite like the idea of him and Selby. That little drug cheat Galahad will probably be in the mix as well if he takes care of a tricky Agbeko later in the week.

And he has a brother called Gary Russell, whats not to like?

There are so many good fights to be made but Scott always seems to end up fighting obscure opponents with the exception of Frampton and Martinez.

He's 28 now and hasn't got many years left - each fight must be meaningful from now on, none of this keep busy rubbish

Doesn't have the strongest résumé does he.

I like the guy though, just an honest lad. To be fair to him to say most people were creaming their daks over Frampton before his loss to LSC, Quigg did alright against him. He fought with a broken jaw and made it a relatively close fight. Certainly took the share of the second half of the fight.

He is not up there with the very top of the Featherweight division though.

Eddie Hearn has said in a couple of IFL interviews that he would like to make Selby vs Quigg.

And that looks increasingly likely now that Frampton only wants LSC.

I don't see why he won't keep his word. Frampton went over as defending champion.

Carl has no leverage to bring Leo over. There wasn't a rematch clause this time around and Leo has the belt, he is the Champ.

Leo initoally did say that he would fight in Belfast but in the subsrquent interviews since he has said repeatedly that it's not his decision & it depends on what his team thinks.

Showtime will want it in America.

I really don't see the incentive for LSC to travel abroad and face a hostile crowd. He would probably win the fight and get robbed and he knows this.

Not a chance of a Belfast fight. I could see a rematch happening in Vegas. But the problem is that the demand isn't quite there. It was pretty clear the LSC is the better fighter.
