Frampton: I Don't Fear Lomachenko, I'd Fight Him at 130-Pounds!

CARL FRAMPTON insists he would have no fear in stepping up to super-featherweight to take on superstar Vasyl Lomachenko – as long as the price is right.
Frampton has already won titles at super-bantamweight and has plans to move up to super-feather and become Britain’s third three-weight world champion.
And he has no fears about taking on WBO champion Lomachenko, who is one of the best fighters on the planet.
Frampton said: “Lomachenko? Why not? I think what you have to do, when you're involved in fights, they need to be rewarding financially."
“I've done this before and people have given me stick for talking about money, but when you have two young kids and a family, it's important."
“A Lomachenko fight would be financially rewarded and it would be a great scalp if I could beat someone like him. This isn't me calling Lomachenko out, a fighter I'm in awe of, but I don't fear anyone.”

If he's fighting LSC a third time, he HAS to win. He can't lost that and then think he can fight Loma.

Lomachenko would win pretty comfortably, but kudos to Frampton for always being willing to take on dangerous opponents.

Kudos for talking? Then Eubank Jr deserves more.

Frampton has fought Quigg, and Leo Santa twice in his last 3 fights. There's no reason to doubt his sincerity when he says he's willing to take on the best.

Pathetic
Rigo brings nothing to the table except for a headache. I understand that some of these guys are highly skilled at the elite level. But, they must understand that when you enter the professional ranks, it is entertainment as much as it is sport. Rigo is an extremely skilled fighter. But, he is no prize fighter.

I think that Frampton would need to come in leaner than he did for LSC. He would need to be as crisp as he has ever been and he would still likely get dominated. I would rather see LSC v Lomassiah but I think that there is plenty to do at feather for both. I think that Mares v Frampton would be great. LSC v TRex jr would also be good although I don't think that Gary has earned it. I would rather see Russell Jr v Quigg or Mares or Frampton.
That said, if Frampton can snag a shot at Lomassiah he should take it while he can. He can always come back to LSC later.

Quigg is very limited, and Santa Cruz compared to Loma is like BJS compared to Golovkin.

Who gives a damn about Rigo if he can get in with Lomassiah? He is doing us all a favor.

What favour?
He's too small for Lomachenko.
I'm not interested.

Too small for the Lomachenko who JUST moved up in weight to 130?

Too small? Frampton is just an inch shorter and he was 138 fight night v LSC, which is in the neighborhood of Lomassiah's fight night weights.

Frampton got out boxed by Santa Cruz.. Loma would box the ears off of him, he has zero chance of beating loma, just looking for a pay cheque talk now that his 0 is gone.

"Lo-ma-ssi-ah, Lo-ma-ssi-ah . . ."
Can you hear it? Why should he bother to fight anyone? They all have "zero chance of beating loma."

He should just retire now and be crowned GOAT of GOATs. At 7-1, what more does Lomassiah have to prove?

Frampton has a ton of heart but LSC solved Frampton and clearly created a blueprint to take advantage of Frampton's physical limitations. He arms are really short and no one will fight Frampton again from his desired distance. I think that Frampton will have a hard time beating the top boxers in the division now. LSC knocks him out in the 3rd fight.
