Joe Riggs, a former UFC fighter, came over to the UK this past weekend and fought Christian Evans for the Bare Knuckle Boxing World Light-Heavyweight title. I'm not particularly up on the bareknuckle scene. So, I don't know how legit (or not) the title is.

Riggs is one of those MMA fighters who have been around for ever. Sherdog lists him as having had 70 fights. I'd take that as meaning that he's had at least 70 MMA fights. Sherdog isn't perfect and Riggs is one of those guys where his record on Sherdog might be incomplete. He's always been a good MMA fighter. He had a rep as being a killer in the gym but you could (perhaps) argue that while he's beaten legit fighters (Nick Diaz, Joe Doerksen, Kendall Grove, Chris Lytle etc) he's never realised the potential that people used to speak of when he was younger. The biggest moment of his MMA career came in late 2005 when he fought Matt Hughes for the UFC Welterweight Title and got submitted in the first round.

Evans got sparked by Sweeney for the middleweight title, Sweeney got beaten in an unlicensed gloved bout. Hawthorn, the cruiserweight champion got beaten in an unlicensed gloved bout... Sweeney is pretty good to be fair. My friend list on a cut eye to him, and my pal can fight, he's fighting on Saturday for a rival organisation, yes, BKB has different sanctioning boards now!

Kevin Bennett. He got beat recently. Sweeney is no mug, won a lot as an am. My pal is good, won loads, but Khan beat him usually in finals.

Bobby Vanzie fought last week, Travis Dickinson, Rob Norton.

That's him thanks. There's some decent fighters out there if he's taken a loss he looked levels above the two I saw him fight

really?! lolz man. was just interested as i know bobby quit boxing and became a jovo. they are against fight sports so i assume he has left them?
