The same Salido who came in heavy, had to low blow for most of the fight, was hanging on for dear life at the end of the fight and now refuses a rematch? That Salido?

Loma's only had like 2 fights in the division. He hasn't personally cleaned out much of anything yet. The division as a whole is MUCH deeper than 135. I'd much rather see him stick around and handle some stuff at 130 for at least another year or two. Plenty of significant fights to be made there.
Berchelt, Sosa, Salido 2, Miura, Jezreel Corrales
It'd take at least 2 years for him to fight all those guys.

For me, Loma/M Garcia is the best high level fight the sport can make at this time. However, I am not getting my hopes up. First off, I believe Mikey is talking about moving up to 140. Secondly, at this point, I don't know who Garcia's promoter is, but I know it's not TR. Can someone help me out here?

Hopefully first comes Sosa, then Berchelt. I think 130 might be my favorite weight class at the moment. 126 is really good now, too.

I feel that Loma has no opponents at 130. I am boring, but have to repeat....I like to see Loma move up at 135 and face Mikey Garcia.....

Unless Loma rematches Salido, I won't feel like he's cleaned out the division. We need to see that rematch. Loma needs to take the paycut for that fight and rematch Salido. And in that rematch he has to obliterate Salido and retire him by knocking the living $hit out of him. Then there won't be any questions. Until that happens, there will always be questions. And I hope that both Arum and Loma can see this.
This isn't a question of what is a good fight or not a good fight. This is a question of pure revenge and shutting all the critics. And for me that sells as a fight.

He can't rematch somebody who is avoiding him. Salido would have zero chances this time, and he knows that.

and if IF's and But's were peanuts and nuts we'd all have a plentiful Christmas buddy. Loma stepping into the ring and he got his ass beat, fair and square. Complain all you want but a hand was raised at the end of this fight and it's wasn't Loma. So how exactly can someone "clean out the division" when he lost to someone not even in the top 5 at the weight imo?
But this happened and that happened. Be a man... he lost the fight. Square and Fair...Fair and square.

Oh are you another Butter face? But this happened...but that happened. Salido won the fight CLEARLY. How can someone clear out the division but have an unavenged loss to someone not even considered to be one of the top fighters in the division? You clowns get in your sewing circle blowing a boxer and you forget little things like LOSSES. pathetic.
Don't let the facts get in the way of you making your opinion.

Another solid, top 10 opponent for Loma. If only his talented Top Rank stablemates and amateur victims Oscar Valdez and Felix Verdejo would follow his lead instead of primarily facing mediocrity.
Hopefully at least one of Corrales, Berchelt, Salido, or Davis for Loma this year too. I imagine that there's a realistic chance of the WBA ordering Corrales to fight the winner of this match.

The very same... The powers that be in Boxing... the one's who won't let Gary Russell fight Frampton, Santa Cruz, Selby, Cuellar, or Mares, are preventing Loma from rematching Salido... Boxing is the pettiest and most corrupt sport on the face of the earth.

PLEASE, Gary Russell Jr is a mouthpiece and doesn't want any big fights. He's the Kanye West of Boxing. Just says ridiculous things and calls himself the greatest but i can't tell you one song he sings or one big fight he's won. So don't use GRJ to help your point every again if you want to be taken seriously. I mean the guy is going to be idle for almost a year and the fight he signs to come back is against another fish.
Please. Go tell this stuff to the tourists because i'm not buying any of it.

We might be able to get Russell/Mares, since they're both Haymon guys. But I doubt either move up and fight Lomachenko anytime soon.

Loma clearly lost to Salido, that's a loss that counts.

Well you're full of crap.. Jhonny Gonzalez knocked Mares out in 1 round -- and Russell easily outboxed and shlttcanned Jhonny Gonzalez so easily it was a joke.. If he were Mexican---and hadn't been dominated by Lomachenko---he would have knocked Mares, Cuellar, Santa Cruz, Frampton, and Selby by now.. Why is Russell being walled off from those matchups??? ... He's been kicked downstairs and blackballed from major Featherweight fights because he'd destroy those guys.
