If David Haye beats Tony Bellew next month & Anthony Joshua beats Wladimir Klitschko in April then we could see the biggest boxing event ever seen in the UK.

Now, Joshua Klitschko already has 90,000 tickets sold and there's no bigger venue in Britain so a Haye Joshua fight would leave maybe a couple of hundred thousand ticket seekers disappointed.

In the old days (before pay per view) you would have closed circuit where you'd go & see a fight at the cinema or somewhere similar.

But what about having a boxing event at a satellite venue? Would you go down to York Hall or a Manchester stadium to watch these two fight via four 20 foot screen erected in a boxing ring?

You'd be at a boxing venue (or temporary boxing venue) watching the action in 'the ring' with a bunch of other fans at a much reduced rate from the blokes at the original venue.

Would you pay something like 10-25 quid to do this or is home PPV for big fights the way forward?

Perhaps it's just me being old and miserable but I'd much rather watch in the house if I can't be there. People are dicks.

I kind of agree but I live in a relatively rural area in Florida & I'd LOVE to see a big fight in a boxing fan atmosphere. I know I'd get pissed off with people at some point but just to be in a crowd of boxing fans would be nice again.

If it was with at least semi knowledgeable fans I'd be up for it, but here it would just be teenage psuedo football hooligans fighting anything in sight.

Football clubs have been doing beam back, showing away games at their own stadium, for some time.

Think they tend to show them in hospitality suites for supporters that couldn't make the away trip

Don't see it taking off in boxing

The difference is that this would be like looking at a 20 foot ring with four 20 foot screens. So almost like looking at a fight itself.

You couldn't really have four screens the size of a football pitch.

This. I just about talked myself into going to see the Wlad v Joshua fight, if i wasn't going, i'd definitely be watching at home. Joshua v Haye and i won't even bother trying to get a ticket. It will be full of bad teds posturing all night

I watched Haye vs Maccarenelli ages ago in a closed off back room of a large pub in Newcastle (Mile Castle). It was brilliant, only 20 or so people who wanted to be there and knew about the sport paying about £3 a ticket.

I watched Haye/Chisora at the cinema, quite enjoyed it. I'd imagine with a full room it'd be on a par with watching it down the pub, sans dickheads.

I couldnt think of anything worse sitting in a arena watching a fight on a big screen, getting ripped off for a drink and getting fleased for a pulled pork sandwich.

Id rathef watch at home with a few mates and have a few friendly bets on round predictions. A few tins and a take away.

It will be a huge event that is for sure. Not sure the Bellew fight makes it any bigger than if Haye continues to fight Di Mori's of this world - but yes, Haye vs Joshua will be a big un.

I think Hatton's ill fated comeback was also shown in the Cinema.
