Kell Brook will beat Errol Spence Jr and could become a bigger name than Amir Khan

"Well, I am going to say here and how, he will beat Errol Spence Jr and answer those questions.

There are a few questions, like what is he going to be like back down at welterweight? Or how is he after the Gennady Golovkin fight? And, perhaps the major one, how good is Spencer Jr?"

"Kell is also the more concussive puncher of the pair and has shown that, but there is one big question hanging over him: how will he do back down at welterweight?

We've seen him up at middleweight, seen how strong he was, but we just won't know. It makes it an intriguing fight, although I think Kell will win and when he does that, I think his stock will shoot straight up."

Maybe he will overtake Khan, but Khan has had his career-defining wins and a few of them already and has already been that popular.

He's wrong and right. It would probably put him in higher stead now but in terms of overall career he's still miles behind.

Spence is massively hyped right now. It would be a very big win for Brook, even if some do pull the fraud card on Spence.

The question is how good is Spence. Some are building him up as a future superstar, but his best wins are over a 41yr old Leonard bundu and a blown up Chris algeri.

I know little else of Spence but just how good is he? I like Kell and this figjt is better than JoJo Dan but how will he cope draining that weight off.

Khan was 24 when he last won a world title fight. He's now 30.

Well, are they fighting? Any progress?

Those 3 names are not better than Khan's resume. Brook scraped past Porter. Khan was robbed vs. Peterson. Garcia was still a workd champion at the time.
All that aside, Khan's 3 welterweight fights are much better than anyone Brooks fought at that weight.

Someone mentioned Khan being 24 when he last won a world title, he won his first at 21. Brook at 27 I believe. Khan is still miles ahead. Already trying to chase big money fights.

I thought the boxing community had agreed never to mention this fight ever again. Aging is an understatement and the way it was stopped was atrocious too. A real disaster of a fight

I agree in this case. Everyone can get caught cold and lose early in spectacular fashion. The way he refused to go back to take on Prescott clearly shows that he was genuinely worried about coping with his power

And deduct points for barely scraping past Diaz (who arguably won that fight) and a very limited Algieri. Could sit and pick holes in Khan and Brook all day but when it comes down to it all said and done I think Brook knocks Khan sparkers no problems.

Knocked out before he won a world title, many boxers have faced defeat in early fights and bounced back.

The 'scared to take on Prescott' again line makes no sense to me considering he ended up taking on Maidana who was probably the biggest puncher at 140 at the time.

But they keep getting knocked out once they've rebuilt.

Kell sparks Khan and I think most agree.
