was on youtube watching some stuff and there is this interview with ola, a cruiserweight most of you know saying he sparred heavyweights and he is sometimes sparring GGG and that bottum line GGG has equal power as some Heavyweights. he didnt went specific on it, but he said that GGG had power and he punches are like a snap, a snap that nowadays heavyweights dont have, they punch with weight, but not with that snap on it.
I mean, i think ola wasnt bull/()ting, why would he. but thats a serious compliment, when you talk about a middleweight having equal punching power like some heavyweights, no wounder opponents avoid him like fat kids salade

In all fairness, GGG spars and trains with LHWs - it's well known he knocked Kov down too so this doesn't surprise me.

I don't know. Which heavyweights matters a lot. It's all about levels, I wouldn't be surprised if some heavyweights hit less hard than boxers even lighter than GGG.

It is all about fundamentals in throwing a punch. GGG throws every punch in the book correctly and consistently. Textbook.

Sure GGG hits hard but if I remember correctly Afolabi has always been involved with the klitsckos who have some part in ggg promotion and career so it probably helps he has a prefoessional relationship and respect with them I'm fairly certain most heavyweights would have stopped a welterweight quicker than he did brook or atleast dropped him

He probably hits harder than some lower level guys not renowned for their power (e.g. Kyotaro, whom GGG KTFO victim Ishida twice went the distance with).
