Here he is on his debut, doesnt look the biggest of neavyweights and definitely not body beautiful but he comes to fight game and busy.

We will be working on his bmi, but it's not a priority for us. His determination and focus however are.he has a good engine and is a deceptively good athlete . Ex rugby player and only boxed for five years including amateur fights. So we aren't in a rush to chase titles. Quality, progressive fights are more our focus.

Im not sure why anyone would be prepared to fight Akinlade in their second pro fight and expect to walk away with a victory fighting away from home was a great idea, in terms of thinking that it was a sure win. The reason I wrote about his weight was not being negative but im sure other people would have thought the same as myself that matching a kid only 1 fight against a up and coming pro such as Akinlade was a risk.

It would have appeared to me and im sure other people that this fight was not a serious vision on how to progress a new comer taking on a decent prospect so early on. Yes Josh won and thats a decent win for the kid.

Again what I said about his weight was not being negative, but im sure you will agree if josh can get a decent win record together condition will always come into play later on in his career. Putting on extra beef did not help David Price in his last fight (im not saying Josh is like Price)

The last thing I would write is anything negative about a young boxer who is 2-0. Im quite excited that there is a possible new kid on the block in British boxing who has beaten a decent prospect in his second outing. So what im saying is just an observation, im sure you fellas know what you are doing with him but you could have a 'golden goose' here that needs some special attention.
