According to the board on 8/2/17;
English Welterweight title
JOHN O’DONNELL v ERICK OCHIENG
The above contest to be promoted by Steve Goodwin, will take place on Saturday, 18th March 2016 at York Hall, London.
This contest is also an eliminator for the British Welterweight Championship.

John O’Donnell fought for that self same title on the undercard of Froch Tatevosyan in Nottingham YEARS ago! Good grief
Anyone fancy a stab at his opponent that night? 10 round fight.....

After the first 3 rounds you’d have got 10-1 on Elwell lasting the duration. Looked more like a 50-1 shot. It can’t have been a day under 9 years ago - if not 10.

Should have got that one being as Elwell was from about a mile away from me
