Brook showed a lot of skill and speed in the G fight, but he wasn't used to the size and power of G. To be fair though, full fledged middle weights have issues with G's power.

As far as skill set is concerned, the OP could possibly be right. But it's close.

His 12.5 year career has been an absolute bore.

Brook's a good boxer, as is Jacobs and Saunders.

Don't think any of them need discrediting, they all have a good win. However it's a fact that both Saunders and Brook haven't fought as good a competition as we'd all hope!
Not always their fault, but that's boxing, gotta get over it. Hopefully things change this year, we're getting Brook/Spence and GGG/Saunders (supposedly)....that satisfies me for a while!

I said brook was his best opponent before the fight and still do. Perhaps Danny can change that.

There's two levels to look at it. There's best opponent faced and best opponent for a certain boxer to face. If GGG cleans out MW, Kell Brook would be the best overall opponent GGG faced but not the most impressive that GGG has beat. It's like Hopkins DLH. Even though DLH is the best opponent Hopkins beat, DLH wasn't a middleweight and I was more impressed with Hopkins beating Tarver, who is no where as good as DLH ever was.

Canelo and Jacobs would destroy brook.

Pound-for-pound, I'd say Alvarez > Brook > Jacobs > Saunders. In the absolute, I'd say... Alvarez > Jacobs > Saunders > Brook.
