Fair to say Danny Garcia has taken his fair share of shots and been tested in the chin department up to this point.
What about Thurman ?
Been in some rag tag sloppy fights where punches sometimes hit defense and get more credit for what they're worth.
Thurman's chin which means ability to absorb a pop be it head or body ... has he been put to the test yet ?

Of course... Maybe you didn't see the Porter-Malignaggi fight... Porter ripped Paulie out cold for the only time in his career... Big left hooks... Garcia couldn't do that to Paulie.. So Porter hit Thurman with his best shots and didn't to a thing to the Thurmanator.

They both have tested chins. Thurman took some clean crisp shots from Diego Chavez who is a pretty powerful puncher. Just asking if Thurman can take a punch leads me to believe that Garcia is expected to take more punches in this bout.

I saw Thurman gassing in 6-7 maybe a little later 7-8 ... he puffed against Guerrero inside 10.

I believe he takes a good shot. It's a step up for Keith, he's certainly not a one time puncher by any stretch of the imagination. Solid boxer though, 50/50 fight.

He seems to take 'em to the head alright. It's the body you have to worry about if you're his manager.

He calls himself one time.

I know, pun was intended. He's an overrated puncher and underrated boxer. Garcia will end up as the aggressor.

Considering Garcia is a late rounds boxer.
