Juan Manuel Marquez has become increasingly clear about what he wants. The Mexican veteran would like to fight in June and then have another fight in October or November in this year.

Marquez revealed that he was offered the chance to fight in Mexico City on April 1, tentatively in the capital's Zocalo, but he did took a pass on the date - because he wasn't confident with arriving in the best possible condition.

Marquez has been inactive since May of 2014, when he won a twelve round unanimous decision over former champion Mike Alvarado.

"On Wednesday I did like 18-19 rounds [of training exercises] consisting of four minutes each. We'll keep on training, it is important to have enough time to get in good condition."

"We have to see the dates that the head of government (Miguel Angel Mancera) has. He has the date in April, we know that May is a difficult month for what is happening with the Canelo-Julio fight and other fights, but I'm thinking about a date in June....... it would be a good date, before people leave on vacation. Then I'll get the rhythm again, take a rest, start the pace again and then why not think about [a fight in] October or November." -

I think he could fight Bradley again, and it would be competitive.
