Wasn't some or even all of the PPV fees refunded by ITV due to technical issues getting the broadcast out there ?

If they did refund everyone then that is very clever from a business perspective, word of mouth goes a long way especially considering it was effectively a test PPV.

Charging people for something that didn't work and then having to refund them is not very clever from a business perspective.

Yeah, I was thinking that.

It's a bit like if I go to a new restaurant & get food poisoning & they give me my money back. I then tell you about it. You're hardly likely to rush out & book a table are you
