Conor Benn

Just saw a thread with his brother/half brother or whatever is going on? Anyone rate Conor? Hard division he's in. Seems to get a hell of a lot of exposure but I fear he may be a hype job tbh.

Josh Taylor would school him easily IMO.

He's a novice's novice. I don't think it's worth taking him even half seriously until after a dozen or so fights.

True and usually that would be the case but Sky are ramming him down our necks every chance they get! He's fit and could probably have a row with most but he just doesn't impress me yet!

I'm isolated from Sky so don't hear all that. Only time I ever hear about boxing on the news over here is when they have a video of some lively kangaroo from a tourist Down Under

Fights too much like his dad for me when he can't punch like him.

He's fighting nothing of note in his first 6 fights, not sure how many more roadsweepers he needs before they decide to face someone who can at least hit back. Of course he cant be rushed but hes learned nothing out of those 6 fights. Im starting to lose interest in him. I think I was excited by the jr's but in reality I was reminiscing the past.

Neither boy can hold a candle to Eubanks offspring.

If Conor wasn't Nigel's boy I suspect he would'nt be near a boxing ring.

He should be on the Nxtgen thing Hearn just announced. Not over supposed world champions on PPV cards.

Wouldn't look out of place on a bill filled with novice amateurs....no way he gets put in with someone like Taylor any time soon.

Too early to say, but they do need to let him progress out of the spotlight & not hype him up so much.

He seems like a nice guy though & so does his brother Harley, so they should gather a following if they have any real talent.

I'd like to see him succeed, but from the snippets I have seen and heard from him out of the ring, he is already vulnerable to the trappings of success, and he ain't done a lot as yet.

I'm struggling to warm to him despite holding his Father in the highest esteem.
I think he has a shock gassed out stoppage loss to a Latvian with a 6-13 ring record written all over him.

they don't want a fight. My mate got asked for his life story before being told no, and the money was crap!

Not ever going to be close to his old man boxing wise in any way

He's 6-0 with 4 KO win's to his name, He's a good prospect and right now he's beating the people he should be beating while he's getting better in the professional ranks.

Without knowing his amateur background I can't say what level he is up to skill wise, his dad was an Army boxing champion and will keep him on the right track training wise so he will improve but to what level it's impossible to tell at this early stage yet.

Also his half brother is Harley Benn, 1-0 with a KO win in his first fight. No details about an amateur background so again time will tell if he lives up to his father's legacy or go even further.

Yea, seems like somebody is pissing in young Harleys ears unfortunately. Nigel Benn has always come across as a good fella everytime i've seen him interviewed...
