So, which upset would shock you the most?

Jacobs taking away Golovkin’s belts and perfect record, or Chavez Jr. defeating the man he will meet in a catch-weight showdown?

chavez is naturaly larger, stronger than canelo. i feel an upset, chavez will rock and finish canelo. jacobs beating arguably the best boxer in the world, that would be massive shock. cant see this happening, but jacobs is powerful and maybe he lands a clear one to g's chin, than who knows what happens.

Silly question. Chavez Jnr could be a live opponent if he's comjng in the right much heavier than Canelo.... he beat alot of guys at MW inc Andy Lee by being bigger.

Despite Chavez Jr's issues his huge natural size advantage means that he's more likely to pull off an upset imo.

According to Oddschecker, Chavez Jr. has a 13.9% chance of scoring an upset, which is only marginally rated more likely than Jacob’s 13.2% probability.

I guess that people believe that Chavez Jr. being massively bigger than all of Canelo’s previous opponents come fight night, as he’s likely to balloon up to 185lbs-190lbs in comparison to Khan’s 161lbs, is the reason why the underdog betting discrepancy isn’t bigger than most fight fans would have expected.

Simply put: the size issue in the Canelo-Chavez Jr. is an unknown element, which could play a part in deciding the outcome of that fight.

Chavez beating Canelo can't happen because he's a terrible boxer and walk in brawler... He's going to get knocked out... You can go big on the bet because Chavez can't box or punch and he has no discipline.. He's been a strong, tough guy in the past -- but even that will be negated by weight draining him---and the fact that a chicken necked Pole knocked him out because he's a virtual punching bag.

Because he's been knocked out once with a single shot does that mean he's chinny as all get-out??? NO. Anybody can be taken out with a shot. Golovkin is a better boxer and puncher than Jacobs and gives up some height.. But then Kovalev is a better boxer and puncher than Ward.

Little fighter's that are better fighter's then the big boy's who they sometimes meet for the right money deal come unstuck at times because of the size difference that's what Jr got the size......................sometimes it does matter I don't believe Jacob can beat GGG that would be the bigger shock if he could pull that one off

Chavez is barely a fighter.

Chavez could barely beat Brian Vera. He just doesn't show very good skills and is an average puncher, while Jacobs has much better attributes all around. I'd love to see him prove me wrong against Canelo.

Pretty good synopsis here on both fights. Chavez Jr doesn't have the skill level, you are right. You just have to look at his fight with Sergio to see all you need to know. Aside from that fantastic last round, Jr just kept walking in and getting pummeled. Canelo's power is now no joke. There's only so many punches Jr's face can take and just so many any logical ref will watch him take without returning any shots. I love this fight but I think that it will be one sided throughout and it won't go distance. Hoping that i'm wrong though.

Jacobs beating GGG would also shock me but GGG has got to start showing his age at some point. That's the only thing that keeps this one from being like a Douglas/Tyson type shocker if it happens that Jacobs gets the win. Jacobs chin is questionable...that's a fact. When you get dropped by Mora, you don't have a good chin. Sorry. GGG's jab is harder than Mora could punch with a running start. Jacobs will just have to fight the perfect fight and not make a mistake for 12 rounds...that's all...pretty easy right?

How on earth is the Chavez Jr. going to make 164lbs for the official weigh-in when he looks so frail at 182lbs?

He looks like a lightweight on the bottom pic.

He does look a bit better in that video, but you can still see his ribs through his chest area. His cheek are quite gaunt. So he also looks very skinny for a 6’1” 182lb man that somehow has to make the official 164lbs weight limit.

He doesn't physically look as impressive now at 182lbs than when he was at the same weight when he fought Rubio in 2012.
