Well that's a start at least. I'm just a bit skeptical when it comes to a well known boxer popping up and making as many posts as she (?) did.

If 'she' started saying that Nicola Adams looked like Mr T, then you would know there was an issue. Even if it isn't real, nothing negative is happening.

I'm sure she won't bother posting again after the reaction.

I disagree....I would think that if that is Katie, she would be happy we were trying to verify. The alternative is just believing anyone who comes on the internet calling themselves 'Katie Taylor' who then spouts off nonsense which could damage her brand.

There is no way that is Katie.

The comms dept at Matchroom would have a fit.

What was the 'reaction'? They pretty much did a post and run, and I don't recall much negativity toward them.

No, but given it was posted from a newly registered IP, in Ireland and that the post is, ahem, rather low quality and seemingly not by someone with experience posting on a forum, about a fight no one gives a crap about, I would suggest the chances are a minimum 50/50. Maybe more. There's no evidence of trolling and nothing of controversy or interest is said.
