Haye v Bellew - your bets

Everybody seems to be talking about betting on the outcome, and i thought it was all about cashing in on a Haye KO, but bookies are reporting today odds on Bellew are shortening.

Did you bet on the fight? If you did post it up here.

My bets (so far)....

£100 on Haye to win by KO rounds 1 to 3 @ 9/4

£10 on Haye to win by KO in round 4 @ 7/1 (safety net to curb my loses if Haye fails to get it done in 3)

£1 on Haye to win by KO in round 1 and Garcia to win on points, returns about £25 (i had a quid remaining on my BET365 account so put it to good use :D )

The Bellew price is mug punters buying into the Hype Bellew has a great chance etc and getting 5/1 for it, shockingly poor price IMO, he doesn't watch his fight with Adonis, I'd Say Haye hits at least twice as hard. Bellew is game and will usually get up but Haye has concussive power, probably one of our P4P hardest hitters ever. I've got £50 on rd 1 @ 10/1 and £50 on rd 2 @ 9/1, I'd lay lots more if I could afford to. This talk of an injury has made me even more confident Haye will end it early, if he's carrying a nigle he isn't going to mess about IMO.

I've bet £5 on Haye to pull out!

I thought I'd cashed in this morning, but it turned out to be a fake news story. :brick:

I've got Haye KO1-6 in a treble with Paulie and Thurman by decision. £10 pays £115.70.

Anyone who fancies bumping up their payout on an acca would be wise to consider Garcia by decision at 4/1.

The price on Haye rounds 1-3 has shortened again. I've got bets on when it was 3/, 11/4 , 5/2 and 9/4 (yesterday).

Yep, i missed all the bigger odds that were on offer a few weeks back, i waited to long before making my move.

BET365 shortened the odds again today on Haye by KO 1 to 3 down to 2/1. I cant recal the ladt time i seen odds on a fight shifting so much. There is a lot of betting interest on this.

I wonder if Bellew has some of that 9/4

You could be right, he was spotted earlier today heading in the direction of William Hill....

Haye Round 1 and 2 £20 singles @ 9s & 8s and £50 on 1-3 @ 9/4. The closer it gets I'm itching to stick on more and probably will :OhYes:

Haye rounds 1-6 at 1.57

Haye to win at 1.23

Gonna put some on Bellew rounds 7-12 as a stop loss when i can get a suitable price matched

If Haye wins he wins early, there'll be no wearing down process, if Bellew wins it's by lasting long enough for Haye to run out of steam

£50 on Haye round 1 at 11-1. I personally think he will do it in round 3, but I see 11-1 as fantastic value.
I don't think Haye needs to catch Bellew clean to stop him.

£5 on Haye to win KO/TKO in round 4 at 8/1.

I've had a few:

Haye to win in round 1 (£15 at 10/1)
Haye to win in round 2 (£10 at 9/1)
Under 3.5 rounds (£30 at 2/1)
Under 6.5 rounds as a part of a wider accumulator for £50
Fight not to go the distance £300 at 1/5.

So it's safe to say I'm bloody hoping this one doesn't go 12 rounds!

That's a big outlay for little reward.

I'm pretty much on the same as you but with Haye to win in that distance

The idea is to cover my other bets as the £30 on under 3.5 is placed with free bets I had as is the tenner on Haye in round 2 at 9/1 so even if the fight isn't done in under 6.5 I won't really lose anything as long as it doesn't go 12. I can't see any way this lasts the distance personally.

This is one of those fights where I'll be constantly tempted to keep putting more and more and more on until it starts so I need to keep my discipline. I'm worse when I've had a few beers in that regard and I'm out tonight and tomorrow night so hoping I don't wake up to some monster bet that I've placed whilst drunk!

Makes sense now. I originally thought you were looking to cover your stakes but then it didn't seem to add up :TU:

That's why I'm reluctant to commit to a round! The injury makes me wonder though - maybe Haye will want to just end it early.

I can't see any logical reason why Haye would want to just play with Bellew for a few rounds. The longer this goes the more Haye looks bad. The boxing world is expecting an utter demolition job as quickly as possible and that's what Haye will be looking for. He'll want to show everyone that Bellew shouldn't even be in the same ring as him. It's not like more PPV buys will be made the longer the fight goes.

Got to say I'm still surprised the bookies are still giving 10/1 rd 1 9 rd 2 and 8's for rd 3. Half tempted to get a grand loan and bang it on first 3. Or do the bookies know something we don't?

If he's carrying an injury which I believe he is, he'll want this, he will want it over with ASAP

Most stats unsurprising really, but interesting nonetheless.
