2 questions.

Number 1: Would you like to see Haye and Bellew go at it again?

Number 2: If there was a rematch, would it have the same outcome?

For me.

Yeah, I'd pay to see them again.

And I think the result would be different. Haye was starting to control the fight when his ankle snapped.

I didn't want the first fight so I'll say no to a rematch!

I reckon it might just happen though. Both would be happy to do it again I reckon. Easy money for them both and they'll work the injury angle to garner interest etc

Unless Bellew gets a big cash out job against Wilder, which I can't see happening.

Trouble is, Haye's going to be out a long time with that injury. Will bellew want to hang around.

I'd watch it again I guess. Won't be betting again though, as Haye's crocked these days.

Id like to see Haye retire and take a cushy media job, colour commentator or whatever theyre called. He's smart, articulate, great technical knowledge, etc.

It's was his wrist performance in years. But I do think that Haye's I jury made him limp and ineffective. Had he been fully fit, Mr Bellew would have been stopped.

Even with Haye not being given fully fit, he still landed a lot of punches flush.

I just hope Haye can quit and find something he can be happy with

His problems seems to be a craving for the limelight and cash. He's a smart bloke, but it looks like he's also got the potential to be a car crash

He was practically begging not to fight AJ. I think he'll get Browne. If he wins that then fvck me the world will have turned upside down.

I would like to see a rematch

Your brother was either hammered or not listening properly 5 Live called it as soon as it happened and regularly referred to it throughout the rest of the fight. Buncey was going mad and insisting it was due to Haye's rubbish boots. They specifically criticised the corner when they started wrapping the tape, saying they should have done it as soon as it happened.

I was surprised - 5live is top notch

I think a rematch should happen, I can't see where else Bellew can go and earn the same kind of money - It looked like Haye was edging towards a points win.

For all Haye's experience with big fight negotiations, to not have a rematch clause is looking rather stupid now, but at least he got to walk to the ring second.

It might be too late for him now to make any impression on the top heavyweight mix, and this defeat sends him down he rankings. He doesn't need have time on his side

Haye is ageing fast & he's going to be subjected to yet another injury layoff will return older, slower, heavier & even more shot.

Bellew has no business at HW & that just further illustrates how far back Haye has gone.

Haye in his pomp would have got Bellew out of there long before he popped his Achilles.

Haye needs to stick to bodybuilding & Bellew needs to go & fight Usyk.

Enjoyed the fight. I'd watch it again if Haye was fit but that's a big if!

Have to say well done to Bellew. Personally I was completely wrong in my prediction and initially thought it was a joke of a fight but as it turned out I enjoyed it.

That is the problem, he was 'edging' a fight against a fat light heavyweight who had never fought at heavyweight.

Bellew had no business being in there for round 6 & he would not have been if Haye wasn't on his way to being washed up.

Haye needs to call it a day.

I'd much rather see Bellew fight the Huck Breidis winner, and focus on cruiserweight for now.

Are people not buying the fact Haye entered the fight with the Achilles? Someone needs to get the vid from last Saturday's Soccer AM where Haye kicked the ball and limped away. He was injured all fight, but obviously it finally snapped in 6.

The rematch would sell, probably be Bellew's biggest payday. But it would be after Bellew has fought for a HW title maybe his last fight next year at Goodison.

If Haye can possibly get in the ring it will happen again late July 2017. Bellew married in April couple of weeks honeymoon and away we go again.

It was an awful fight before the injury and a worse fight after the injury and I admit I thought it might be a spectacle before hand but it truly was not. People in the pub saying to me today that I hear it was a classic and short of telling someone they are talking bollocks what do you say.

It had the potential to be a bit of a barnburner for 3 minutes and ended up being a hug fest after the final bell where (and I don't blame them) they were trying to sell the rematch to line everyones pockets.

Thanks David for making my family secure, no problem Tony you are the man now and we can do it in Liverpool under your terms.

I found it unedifying and sad and more to the point was disappointed with myself for actually thinking it would have anything other than a conclusion that left me feeling this way.

I know, but Bellew just isn't a heavyweight, he on a good run, but if he goes up to heavyweight I think it'd kill his career. I sure they could build up some decent fights for him.

That’s their agenda. Should the fans care what would generate the biggest payday for these two chancers - or expect the best fights? I should hope it’s the latter.
