Hypothetical question who would you pick Hughie Fury or Bellew.
If Hughie was to beat Parker (unlikely) I believe he would be the easiest choice for Bellew.
I personally think TB gives Fury a good scrap

compared to the quality of opposition already competed against Bellew has fought far superior boxers. Bellew would beat Hughie in my eyes possibly in similar fashion to the Haye fight, just take the punches for a few rounds then come on strong to stop Fury.

At the moment Bellew is the man so nothing is impossible for a fight to happen.

Hughie would be a terrible match for Bellew, size & styles wise. Hughie would absolutely jab his head off.

Hughie could win the bout simply with his range he doesn't carry frightening power but it would be an interesting one sided fight haha

Hughie would be too big with too many tools at range. Bellew barely beat a guy with one leg for half the fight!

Hughie easily. Bellew does not have a future at HW.

I think you'd have to pick Hughie but he's fought absolutely nobody and could quite easily be garbage against decent level opponents.

It's a genuinely laugh out loud statement of affairs when a guy is fighting for a world title at heavyweight genuinely hasn't beaten anyone near the level of Bellew.

I wouldnt think so. What round did Hayes leg blow out again was it about the 5th not sure.

6th, at which point he seemed to be up 4-1 and taking over more.

I posted a clip of it happening in a few threads, including the RBR.

Hughie would outpoint him in a snorefest.

I think the biggest threat to Hughie would be fighters who could overwhelm him with power or catch him on the hop using speed.
Physicality would be the key
His mixture of tidy boxing skills and range make him a hard man to out box IMO

I don't think Bellew ticks either box and is not a real full blown heavyweight. Hughie beats him in a 116-113 type decision with Bellew getting inside to rough him up in spells.

Can we all remember that Bellew is not a heavyweight.

He's not even the best CW in the world, let alone a top line HW.

He barely beat semi retired & injured david Haye, so he isn't going to beat a decent & huge HW.

I know Hughie is no great shakes, but Bellew is not even ready for him at HW.

Agreed Bellew would probably fair well against more economical fighters at HW. Lucas Browne, Briggs etc
