Jamie Conlan vs Yader Cardoza

This Belfast card was postponed a couple of months back but its on this Friday on boxnat1on, Barnes,McCullough,Corcoran.McKenna all scheduled for the undercard

I always love watching Conlan fight he always gives value for money whether he's fighting a journeymen or at a higher level, last years FOTY with Nelson had to be seen to be believed, his fight with Granados was nuts as well, he's a tough cookie but his wreckless style and love of a tear up will prove his downfall the higher he steps up, still he's great to watch and always gives it 100%

I was looking through Cardoza's record its mediocre at best but strangely sandwitched inbetween average wins and poor defeats he has a world title fight with then WBC Light Flyweight champ Adrian Hernandez which he lost via UD, Hernandez can fight so that's not a bad loss but he lost the next 3 after including by KO, his records pretty poor but that world title fight with Hernandez trumps anything Conlan has done yet

I expect Conlan to win via KO late but knowing him and his style he will no doubt take some unnecessary lumps en route

This cards on now incase anyones forgot, Phillip Sutcliffe Jr just stopped Miguel Aguilar in the 4th, towel came in after Aguilar was under a barrage, Sutcliffe took a few rounds to get going and Aguilar had a bit of success in the opener, he sent Sutcliffe reeling into the ropes a little after tagging him but Sutcliffe went up a gear in the 4th and started to land at will and you seen Aguilar starting to unravel

Marco McCullough fighting Leonel Hernandez at the mo, Hernandez down from a cracking right hand in the 1st

McCullough scheduled to fight Ryan Walsh for the British

McCullough wins an 8 round decision, thought he might in for an early night after the KD in the 1st but Hernandez lasted the course, McCullough was dominant and hurt Hernandez several times but never really looked like getting him out of there

Con Sheehan vs Ferenc Zsalek over 8 next

Sheehan trained by Peter Fury and he definitely has the style of a Fury, tall, low lead left hand ,decent speed of hand and foot, not much power though

Zsalek is tough but he's badly out of shape and has been in survival mode from the 1st bell

Sheehan wins comfortably over 8, easy win but would've like to have seen him get Zsalek out of there

Great fight that, McKenna was coming on strong and his class was beginning to show I doubt Hanney would would've lasted much longer, Hanney was tough though and got some good shots of his own off, I think he hurt Tyrone early in the fight but McKenna was starting to land clean as it went on
