"Tim Bradley is Still Very Interested in Facing Miguel Cotto"
Former two-division champion Tim Bradley (33-2-1, 13 KOs) was at a press conference this past Friday to support super lightweight prospect Edgar Martinez, who is managed by Bradley's wife Monica.
Bradley has been inactive for nearly a year since his April 2016 points loss to Manny Pacquiao in their rubbermatch.
It was Bradley's second fight with new trainer Teddy Atlas.
Bradley has remained very patient as he waits for the right fight.
"I am interested in any fight that makes sense. That is a fight that makes sense. A Cotto fight would be big but at the end of the day I say, 'yeah' but it's not up to me,"
Bradley for the record, is still very interested in facing Cotto and has previously stated that he would be willing to meet the Puerto Rican at a catchweight between 147 and 154 pounds.
"I think it would be fun. I think it is a fight the fans wouldn't mind watching. 'Cotto if you are looking for a dance partner, holla baby. Let's go," Bradley stated.
