Thinking of going to Liverpool on Friday, just checking if anyones been to one and whether they'd recommend it, or is just a lot of dough to listen to a Q&A? Cheers.

I'd rather eat my own helmet than listen to Floyd talk, his fights were bad enough in recent years, his talk is every more boring.

Really? To listen to some predictable answers, take an overpriced photo with him. Christ I would rather wank myself to sleep....

I even went to a Roberto Duran event ( a former friend sorted it); and though he's a legend and potentially very interesting it was awful. All the questions were from the local 'tough guys' and predictable questions like 'who gave you your toughest fight?'.

Professor Toke wrote:Yeah seen him in Leicester, cost £40.

Had to pay an extra 200 smackeroonies to ask him a question but it was totally worth it.

Asked him what he would have been if he wasn't a boxer.

Said he probably would have been a carpet salesman and after the the tour will open his own carpet shop in Grand Rapids because carpets are his true passion in life.
What else is there apart from the Johnny Nelson bit, or is that the whole night? The website doesnt say much. Cheers

Which is a question I never thought I'd ask of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I think each venue had its own special guest

In Leicester it was Gary Lineker, when Floyd was going into his passion for carpets Lineker opened a packet of Walkers cheese and onion crisps.

It wasn't a very big venue and the acoustics were awful, the sound of the crisp packet crinkling and the munching of crisps was very distracting. Particularly to Floyd. He had to tell Gary to be quiet on several occasions. Linekar started eating the crisps with his mouth open holding his clip on mic closer to his face so everyone could hear while floyd was trying to speak.

Floyd said "hold it down homeboy, yer boys up here keeping it real, schooling these suckaz about carpets n u causing a ruckus, people came here to listen to me talk about carpets be easy son"

Gary said "this is what I think of think of your carpets" and threw a handful of walkers cheese and onion crisps at Floyd's feet, all over the nice lovely carpet.

Floyd was furious. But ever the pro he carried on answering my question and explained why he was so passionate about carpets in a surprisingly eloquent manner.
 fcking brilliant

I'd much rather listen to his old man and uncle Roger ramble on while tooting on their crack pipes! Now that would be entertainment :yay:

You paid £200 quid to find out he wanted to be a carpet fitter and you found it worth the £200?

Im going to be honest with you, I would have stuck the £200 in my pocket and hope that someone else would have asked him the same question.

£200 to ask him a question?? I'd expect a shiner with no Condom and a facial finish for that....

Typical Lineker, loves to promote his own salt 'n' Lineker brand but in reality wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. pudendum
