Hi guys,
Just wanted to see what actually happens now with fighters looking at turning over without am experience but previous combat experience. Is it not longer a trial spar anymore? Due to insurance as have heard conflicting things.

I didn't do a trial spar as I had a long amature career, what kind of previous experience have they got ?

Trial bouts stopped a few years back - you are correct to say it was due to the insurance (or rather lack of insurance) risk. A physical assessment is done now to assess fitness, technique, footwork, stamina etc. Assessment is usually needed unless someone has recent amateur experience. spudder56 does a lot of the assessments in our area. Which area are you in, out of interest?
