I used to really look forward to ringside, I understand before that it probably didn't have henviewing figure but at the moment boxingnis very much a mainstream sport again I'm surprised they haven't managed to bring it back.

Even if they didn't bring Ringside back as we knew it, they film plenty of boxing content each week for their website. There's enough good stuff that could be cobbled together into a weekly 30 minute TV show broadcast on SKY Sports Mix. The channel has a reach of 14 million on the SKY and Virgin Media platform. No real additional cost involved. Surely that would help build interest in the sport and SKY's boxing coverage in general?

My ex wife used to love ringside because of Johnny Nelsons bulge! It's no mystery why I'm divorced!

It's doesn't fit with Eddies rhetoric that sky are fully behind boxing and investing like never before, when the flagship boxing show got axed. I'm sure it was down to money, the cost of making it must have been not worth it.

IFL does the job for them and it doesn't cost Sky a dime.

That bulge is actually hemmoroids that he pulls round the front. Adam Smith is merciless on his slaves.

Sky got rid of all magazine programmes to cut costs. Boots n All (RL), the Rugby Club (RU), Ringside...etc.
I can't see any of them coming back for as long as they're paying a fortune for football.

I think it was on too frequently.

It only needed to be on about once a month, or on the eve of huge fight.

A weekly show about boxing is not really necessary as there isn't that much happening on a weekly basis worthy of discussion.

Think they could warrant a weekly show if they focused on boxing as a whole and not just what's on Sky.

There's enough sources to keep up to date with boxing without ringside tbh.

It was good though :TU:

I always cringed when Johnny got the guest fighter in the ring, it was so Andy Townsends Tactics Truck-esque.
